| With the development and progress of the times,home-school cooperation has become an important trend in the development of education. The report of the 20 th Party Congress clearly points out that the implementation of the fundamental task of establishing moral education and cultivating socialist builders and successors who are well-rounded in moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic and social development are inseparable from the participation of multiple forces of family, school and society, reflecting the high importance the state attaches to the collaborative education of home, school and society. In order to conscientiously implement the spirit of the 20 th Party Congress, the Ministry of Education jointly issued the Opinions on Sound School-Family-Society Collaborative Parenting Mechanism, which pushed home-school cooperation to a new level.School education is not an island of education, but an “island chain” integrated with family education and social education. The combination of school education, family education and social education can not only integrate high-quality resources and enrich the curriculum, but also form “educational allies” to build the healthy development of students. With the changing social environment, children’s education is getting more and more attention, and “education anxiety” has become a common problem that parents have to face.Secondary school students are in their adolescent years, with immature minds, sensitive to the evaluation of others, and emotions like storms, and some of them have strained relationships with parents and inadequate communication and interaction. Therefore, under such circumstances, exploring effective ways of home-school cooperation in secondary schools has become an important issue. This paper is based on symbiosis theory, relying on Zhang Yu’s home-school cooperation questionnaire from East China Normal University to construct a questionnaire on home-school cooperation in junior high schools in the context of symbiosis theory combined with the opinions of tutors and the specific situation of the survey sample. This paper uses a combination of questionnaires and unstructured interviews to understand and analyze parents’ and teachers’ perceptions of home-school cooperation, the current situation of home-school cooperation and its influencing factors, and expectations and suggestions for home-school cooperation. In order to comprehensively reflect the current situation of home-school cooperation in X city, three secondary schools of different levels were selected.A total of 1251 valid parent questionnaires and 120 teacher questionnaires were collected from the three middle schools.Through preliminary collation and analysis of the collected information, the survey results show that the overall home-school cooperation in X is positive, and most teachers and parents affirm the importance of home-school cooperation for students’ physical and mental development. However, there are some problems, and home-school cooperation is still influenced by instrumental and utilitarian thinking, and the interests related to home-school cooperation, which should be mutually promoted, are mutually excluded or even marginalized. It is difficult to realize the ideal of symbiosis in home-school cooperation. Therefore,we propose targeted optimization strategies from three elements:(1)reinforcing symbiotic units and establishing a common vision;(2)building a symbiosis of home-school cooperation with "caring" for students as the core;(3)establishing a sound system of home-school cooperation to build a harmonious coexistence environment... |
