The education of home-school cooperation is an area of great concern in the reform and development of basic education.School and family are the two most important growing environments for children from childhood to adulthood.No matter which side has problem,they will have adverse effects on the physical and mental health of children.Family education needs school guidance,and school education needs parents’ support and cooperation.Therefore,home-school cooperation is very necessary.This paper takes Y primary school in Heyuan City as the research object,based on the analysis of literature and the theory of common responsibility,and puts the emphasis of home-school cooperation on the two main bodies of family education and school education.Through literature,questionnaire and interview,this paper investigates the specific situation of home-school cooperation in Y primary school,analyzes the existing problems and reasons,and puts forward suggestions for improvement.This paper consists of six chapters: the first chapter is the introduction,which describes the research background,research purpose,research significance,research methods and definition concepts;the second chapter is the literature review,which describes the relevant research and practice at home and abroad;the third chapter is the theoretical discussion of home-school cooperation,and puts forward the theoretical basis of home-school cooperation;the fourth chapter is the research process,focusing on the collation of questionnaire survey and interview content;the fifth chapter is based on the results to explore the existing problems and explain the reasons;the sixth chapter is based on the analysis of the problems and reasons to make recommendations.In this study,home-school cooperation refers to a two-way activity in which the family and school aim at promoting the overall development of children,the school guides the family education,parents participate in school education,and they cooperate and support each other.This paper mainly analyzes the current situation of home-school cooperation in Y primary school through questionnaire survey and interview from five aspects: the concept,mode,content,effect evaluation and influencing factors,It finds the following problems: weak concept of home-school cooperation;simple content of home-school cooperation;single way of home-school cooperation;the evaluation mechanism of home-school cooperation needs to be improved.The main causes of the problems include: the lack of legal system and theoretical guidance of home-school cooperation in the administrative departments;the imperfection of home-school cooperation organization in the schools,the lack of school evaluation mechanism,and the wrong concept of home-school cooperation in the leaders;the heavy workload of teachers,the lack of cooperation ability and skills,and the unclear responsibility of their own;the incorrect understanding of home-school cooperation in parents,and there is a lack of scientific concept of parenting.In view of the above problems and reasons,this paper holds that schools and families should improve their cooperative consensus and concept;schools should enrich the content of home-school cooperation,advocate various and effective ways of cooperation,and improve the home-school cooperation organization;education administrative departments must improve the home school cooperation system.Due to the limited research conditions and research level,there are still many shortcomings in this study,such as a single research object,and the research conclusions need to be further in-depth.
