| Policy documents such as the Action Plan for Quality Improvement in Vocational Education(2020-2023)stress the importance of students’ dominant position in the process of practical training.As one of the main forms of practical training in secondary vocational schools,practical training class needs to pay attention to students’ participation actively.Therefore,this thesis explores the current situation of students’ participation in practical training class and puts forward corresponding improvement strategies to better mobilize students’ enthusiasm in participation and improve the teaching quality of practical training class.This study takes A secondary vocational school in Hebei Province as an example,takes the grade two and three students of secondary vocational accounting affairs major and the teachers of practical training course as the investigation objects,based on Professor Hu Zixiang’s theoretical model of student participation,this thesis uses literature analysis to determine 7 dimensions of student participation in practical training class of secondary vocational schools.According to the results obtained by classroom observation method,survey method and Likert scale method,the present situation of students’ participation in practical training class in secondary vocational schools is analyzed.The analysis data shows that: Students in the training course of accounting affairs major in A secondary vocational school get the highest score of evasive participation(3.76),the second score of adverse participation(3.72),the third score of unethical participation(3.62),the second score of advance participation(3.29),the second score of extended participation(3.27),and the second score of feedback participation(3.21).Task-based participation(2.90)had the lowest score.According to the analysis of the current situation of the investigation,the problems of students’ participation in the practical training class of secondary vocational schools are found: the effect of pre-participation is not good;Task-based participation silencing;One-way feedback participation;The level of extended participation is low and the problem of hidden truancy is obvious.Based on the analysis of the reasons for the above problems,combined with the suggestions of interviews between teachers and students,this thesis puts forward the improvement strategies for students’ participation in the practical training class of secondary vocational schools from five aspects: consciousness,self-experience,importance,ability and management.Optimize students’ self-experience of task-based participation;Emphasize the importance of students’ feedback participation;Cultivate students’ ability of expanding participation;Strengthen the management of hidden truancy. |
