| With the in-depth development of basic education reform,the cultivation of students’ core literacy has become a trend and consensus.The Science Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition)emphasizes that the core literacy of students to be cultivated in the science curriculum mainly refers to the correct values,necessary character and key abilities that students need to adapt to their lifelong personal development and social development that are gradually formed in the process of learning the science curriculum,which is the centralized embodiment of the nurturing value of the science curriculum,including scientific concepts,scientific thinking,inquiry and practice,attitude and responsibility,etc.Four aspects.In order to meet the requirements of the new curriculum for core literacy,the educational approach also needs to evolve.Project-based learning is a teaching model based on the core concepts of disciplines,discovering and proposing real problems in the real situations created,and students cooperate and investigate around the project problems,using the knowledge of various disciplines to solve the real problems,presenting the project results,and developing students’ abilities in various aspects to cultivate core literacy.Project-based learning is one of the effective ways to cultivate and form core literacy.This study focuses on science education,and uses literature analysis,survey research,and practical research to investigate the design and practice of project-based learning in science based on core literacy.First,I collected literature to clarify the connotation and characteristics of project-based learning and core literacy,and combined with related theories to make an overall design of science project-based learning and propose an implementation model,including the preliminary stage,practice stage and evaluation and feedback stage;second,based on the requirements of the Compulsory Education Curriculum Program and Curriculum Standards(2022 Edition)for cultivating students’ core literacy,and combined with the content of science textbooks,I used a science project-based learning case based on "making multifunctional edible salt";finally,based on the proposed science project-based learning model,I will design,practice,test the effect and reflect on the case,to evaluate the implementation effect of the proposed science project-based learning model and make suggestions for implementation.The study finds that compared with traditional science classrooms,the proposed core literacy-based science project-based learning model has better implementation effects,better reflects students’ initiative in science learning,and improves students’ ability to cooperate and communicate,apply knowledge,and think creatively.It can implement the core literacy requirements of the curriculum standards for science subjects,and according to the reflection after practice,it proposes "balancing the role of students and teachers","enhancing students’ motivation with an inclusive and encouraging attitude","focusing on the practice process and learning feedback".The project-based learning practice can be improved by subsequent researchers,and the value of project-based learning can be enhanced. |
