Countries around the world attach importance to environmental governance,and China has put forward the goal of " building ecological civilization ".Ecological civilization education is the foundation of ecological civilization construction,which can promote the realization of the goal of " building ecological civilization ".The chemistry discipline contains a wealth of ecological civilization education content.The " Compulsory Education Chemistry Curriculum Standard(2022 Edition)" proposes to guide students to establish the concept of ecological civilization and form the habit of saving resources and protecting the environment.Based on this,this paper uses questionnaires and interviews to investigate the current status of the implementation of ecological civilization education in District A of Zhangzhou.It is found that some county schools have problems in infiltrating ecological civilization education,such as students ’ high awareness,less practice,dull teaching methods,and limited teaching content.The theme teaching runs through the whole process with a determined theme.Students build a problem framework around the " theme " in groups,integrate knowledge inside and outside the class,and complete thematic activities.Therefore,this paper attempts to carry out the theme teaching of ecological civilization education,with ecological civilization education as the guide and theme teaching as the form,to guide students to strengthen the understanding of ecological civilization thought while learning junior high school chemistry knowledge,improve the action force of ecological protection,and promote the formation of students ’ core literacy of chemistry.This article takes Xi jinping’s ecological civilization thought for guidance.Literature research,questionnaire survey,interview and case analysis were used for research.Firstly,it introduces the research background,significance,current situation,ideas and methods,related concepts and theoretical basis.Secondly,the questionnaire survey and interview method are used to investigate the current situation of the implementation of chemical ecological civilization education in junior middle school in A District of Zhangzhou City,so as to analyze the problems existing in the ecological civilization education in chemistry teaching.According to the analysis of the current situation,the basic principles and basic teaching process of carrying out the theme teaching of ecological civilization education in junior middle school chemistry teaching are put forward,and the content of ecological civilization education in textbooks is analyzed.Guided by the three major pollution prevention and control battles of "blue sky,clear water and pure land" and " carbon peak,carbon neutralization ",three classes of " air,water and carbon dioxide " were selected to carry out the theme teaching design of ecological civilization education.Finally,Z school in A district of Zhangzhou was selected to carry out teaching practice,and comparative analysis was carried out through questionnaire survey and student interview.The practical results show that it is feasible to carry out the theme education of ecological civilization in junior middle school chemistry teaching,and the theme teaching of ecological civilization education can further broaden students ’ knowledge of ecological civilization,improve their consciousness of practicing ecological civilization behavior and promote the further improvement of ecological civilization literacy and discipline core literacy.This paper puts forward some suggestions on the application of thematic teaching in ecological civilization education,and makes a summary and reflection on the improvement,which provides some teaching reference for the ecological civilization education in basic schools.
