Research On The Improvement Of Service Ability Of Elderly Volunteers In Urban Community Involved In Group Work

With the increase of population aging,population aging has become the focus of social attention.How to alleviate the pressure brought by the aging society and promote the development of the aging society in a positive direction is a big problem faced by our country.In order to better practice the concept of active aging,enrich the life of the elderly in their later years,let the elderly show their self-worth and realize the purpose of the elderly,through the elderly to participate in voluntary service,join the elderly volunteer team.This can not only relieve the pressure of the aging society and reduce the burden of the elderly,but also enrich the spiritual world of the elderly,improve the social recognition of the elderly,and help the elderly to obtain a sense of self-realization and satisfaction.However,the ability of the elderly to engage in volunteer services is insufficient,which restricts the level of volunteer services.Social workers have professional theoretical knowledge and skills advantages in professional services.Therefore,the intervention of social work in volunteer services for the elderly can effectively improve the service ability of elderly volunteers.This study takes the service ability of elderly volunteers in M community of Zhangzhou City as the research object,and improves the service ability of elderly volunteers through group work.Firstly,the service status and demand of the elderly volunteer team in M community were studied by semi-structured interview and questionnaire survey.On this basis,the problems faced by the elderly volunteer team in M community,such as lack of training,organizational management and incentive mechanism,were analyzed and the reasons were given.Secondly,based on the actual situation,the work method of professional groups is applied,and under the guidance of the advantage perspective theory and the enhancement theory,specific practical plans are formulated for the improvement of the service ability of elderly volunteers.In this paper,8 elderly volunteers were selected as the service objects of group work,and the implementation process was divided into three stages.Six group activities were conducted to guide the interactive learning of the group members,and the positions of the members were rationally assigned.The elderly volunteers made full use of their own abilities and resources,and the communication ability,teamwork ability,resource linking ability and self-cognition ability of the members were improved through team building.Thirdly,the team work was evaluated from four aspects: the performance evaluation of team members,the performance evaluation of social workers,the activity satisfaction evaluation,and the comparative analysis of the results before and after the activity.The evaluation results basically reached the expected goals.Group activity tracking feedback group work intervention has a significant positive effect on improving the service ability of elderly volunteers.Finally,according to the practical exploration process,the conclusion and reflection are put forward,and the countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to enhance the service ability of elderly volunteers,such as strengthening training,strengthening organizational management,formulating incentive system and building evaluation mechanism.
