Research On Group Work To Improve The Service Ability Of Community Elderly Volunteers ——A Case Study Of KX Community In Shenyang

With the aggravation of population aging,it has brought pressure to the society and hindered the development and progress of the society to a certain extent.Population aging has become a key topic of public concern.How to alleviate the pressure brought by population aging and promote the development of aging in a positive direction is a major problem facing our country.In order to better practice the concept of active aging,enrich the elderly’s old life,let the elderly show their self-worth and achieve something for the elderly,the elderly can participate in voluntary services and join the elderly volunteer team,which is not only conducive to the physical and mental health development of the elderly,re socialize the elderly’s old life and increase their sense of happiness and satisfaction,It can also reduce the negative impact of aging on society and promote social development and progress.Therefore,actively promoting the participation of the elderly in voluntary service is an effective way to actively deal with aging.This paper takes KX community in Shenyang as the research unit and the elderly volunteers in the community as the service object.The survey found that the service level of elderly volunteers in the community is low,and there are common problems such as cognitive deviation of volunteerism,lack of basic service skills,lack of unity and cooperation ability,poor ability to link resources and lack of standardized elderly volunteer management system.Elderly volunteers are an important part of voluntary organizations and play an irreplaceable role.Therefore,it is urgent to improve the service ability of elderly volunteers.Under the guidance of empowerment theory,advantage perspective theory and social support theory,this paper uses the group work method to serve the elderly volunteers in KX community of Shenyang,in order to help them improve their volunteer service ability.This group intervention has carried out eight activities to help them master basic service skills and cultivate unity,cooperation,communication and communication through empowerment theory The ability to link resources,the application of advantage perspective theory to help them explore their advantages,and the application of social support theory to help them establish a social support network from both subjective and objective aspects.After the intervention of group activities,through multi angle process evaluation and result evaluation,the volunteer service ability of elderly volunteers has been greatly improved,and the group intervention has achieved results.Through reflection,it is found that the number of people covered by this group activity is limited.It is hoped that through this group intervention,the 10 group members served will play an exemplary role in other elderly volunteers,and influence more elderly volunteers with the strength of this small elderly volunteer team;At the same time,it is hoped that the experience of this group intervention can provide reference for social workers engaged in social work for the elderly in other regions,promote the ability of elderly volunteers,and enable elderly volunteers to achieve something for the elderly,so as to help the country actively deal with the problem of population aging.
