| "General Technology" is a compulsory national course for ordinary high school students in China,guided by the cultivation of students’ core literacy,and is a practice-based,highly integrated,creative,and unified course of science and technology and humanities.In order to give full play to the educational value of the "General Technology" course,the design and implementation of project teaching and the development of a variety of project courses have become a hot spot for teaching practice innovation and research.The activity carrier of project teaching is the key to curriculum development,and the primary consideration is to select a good project.Based on participating in the referee and volunteer service of the Guangxi Youth Science and Technology Games,considering the actual situation of the internship school and students,the author chose the "Trebuchet Attacking Fortress" project with a high degree of compatibility with the compulsory 1 of "General Technology".The research revolves around "How to integrate extracurricular science and technology activities into the national curriculum?" and "How to optimize instructional design?" two questions unfold.Before teaching practice,the author conducts research from two aspects: teaching practice experience and project teaching methods.Firstly,the teaching status of "General Technology" is analyzed according to the type of course,and the characteristics of the discipline are summarized to lay the foundation for the implementation of practice.Secondly,through the literature,grasp the connotation of project-based teaching and the implementation process of project-based teaching design,and then combine the characteristics of the discipline to summarize the teaching process of the " Trebuchet " project with clear projects,preset schemes,project implementation,optimization and improvement.Through literature analysis of teaching practices related to the Trebuchet project in different spaces,disciplines and sections,the project can be inherited and expanded.Then,according to the model,the teaching plan of the "Trebuchet Attacking Fortress" project is preset,and it is practiced in the first grade of L Middle School,forming a project-based teaching design of "preset-practice-optimization".The "optimization" part is based on the analysis of the results of the trebuchet works,the statistics of the student self-evaluation form,the Trebuchet Attacking Fortress project book and the student interview,which is reflected in the description of the operation essentials of each stage in the teaching design,in order to provide reference and reference for front-line teachers.The results of this study show that extracurricular science and technology activities can be integrated into the teaching of "General Technology" through project teaching method,and make the content and objectives of the stage course more prominent by limiting the production conditions of the project and changing the rules of the competition.In view of the actual situation of "General Technology" in schools,the project teaching helps teachers to open a variety of courses in limited class time and material conditions,and effectively exert their learning agency through students’ hands-on practice. |
