In 2003,the Chinese Mainland sets up the General Technology courses in ordinary senior high schools,and through the curriculum standards promulgated by the Ministry of Education,it was clear that the new curriculum should be based on “practice,high integration,creativity oriented,integration of technology and humanities”.When Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region began to implement the new curriculum of senior high school in 2012,in order to explore a new way to overcome difficulties in the implementation of the new curriculum,it was decided to set up experimental schools to carry out the innovative implementation of the General Technology course.Facing the three major problems of “teachers,resources and assessment” encountered in the implementation of a new curriculum,the innovative and overall solutions was taken,especially the choice of school-based assessment rather than unified examination for students' learning,which provides a rare space for innovation and Practice for the implementation of project-based teaching in the General Technology course.As one of the first 20 experimental schools in Guangxi,School G has formed a project-based curriculum development,implementation and assessment teaching system since it carried out the innovation experiment in 2012.In project-based learning,students' hands-on,mind-on,thinking and practice are integrated;After the completion of the project,students not only acquire knowledge and skills,but also improve their ability and love the course.After a period of internship,the author felt the charm of project-based teaching,and gradually formed his own research questions: first,what are the rules or principles of project-based teaching design for General Technology courses? Second,how to effectively implement the project-based instructional design to the General Technology?Based on the above research questions,the author takes three classes of grade two in Guilin School G as the research subject,carries out the teaching practice of “floating and sinking” and “building a boat” two project cases,and assessed the teaching effectiveness.Firstly,the author clarifies the connotation of project-based teaching and General Technology course through literature review.Secondly,based on the current difficulties in the implementation of General Technology courses in China,the necessity of adopting project-based teaching is expounded.Then,the author makes use of the opportunity of teaching practice in school G,selects the “floating sink” project on the basis of the existing project teaching resources,and adds the “building a boat”project into the teaching design,and then applies it to classroom teaching.Finally,in the teaching practice,the author uses the existing project-based General Technology curriculum assessment system to evaluate the teaching effect in the form of observation scale,questionnaire and interview The improvement effect of "materialization ability and innovation ability" is compared with the traditional way of “teaching materials”.The main conclusion of this study is: through the use of project-based teaching method,not only can the concept of curriculum standards be well implemented,but also it can highlight the dominant position of students,and significantly improve students' interest in learning,problem-solving ability,comprehensive practical ability and team cooperation ability.In teaching practice,teachers should pay attention to the role of "guide" based on real problems,adopt reasonable teaching evaluation methods and formulate appropriate evaluation contents.
