In the current social background of vigorous development of science and technology,China's technological education is facing major challenges of reform.As a compulsory course for high school students,General Technology Course undertakes the important task of training technical talents.At present,China's high school general technology curriculum is facing tremendous changes.The General Technology Project-based teaching is the main form of classroom organization.And how to break the barriers between disciplines,realize the integration of subject knowledge,and comprehensively improve the comprehensive quality of students in it is the primary problem to be solved.As one of the new hots pots of teaching research and exploration in basic education in China,the concept of STEAM has the characteristics of interdisciplinary,comprehensive,and practical.The concept is also consistent with the education concept advocated by the general technical curriculum.The combination of the concept and the project-based teaching of general technology conforms to the objective requirements of the future.It encourages students to explore with interdisciplinary thinking,and cultivate students' interdisciplinary knowledge integration ability and teamwork ability in the process of inquiry.The problem-solving ability and the core literacy of the subject have become the comprehensive talents needed by the current technological society.This paper mainly combines interview,questionnaire survey method,literature research and other research methods to explore the general technology project teaching process based on the concept of STEAM.The main of this paper mainly includes the implementation and analysis phase of the general technology project-based instructional design phase based on the concept and the specific case.Before carrying out the general technology project teaching design based on the concept,it is necessary to analyze the relevant content of the concept and the general technology project teaching,and combine the relevant characteristics of the two to design the general technology project teaching design process based on the concept.In the teaching case study,the teaching design of "Design and Making of Creative Table" is first completed according to the teaching design process,and the teaching effect is evaluated by various methods such as questionnaire survey,interview,and result evaluation.The research shows that the general technology project-oriented instructional design based on the concept of STEAM proposed in this research has a certain degree of training for learners' cross-disciplinary knowledge application ability,problem-solving ability,cooperative inquiry ability and subject core literacy.The conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The General technology project-based teaching based on the concept of STEAM is conducive to improving learners' interest in learning;(2)The General technology project-based teaching based on the concept of STEAM can cultivate learners' core literacy of the subject;(3)The General technology project-based teaching based on the concept of STEAM is conducive to transforming learners' problem-solving methods and promoting learners' collaborative learning;(4)Project-based teaching of general technology based on the concept of STEAM can cultivate learners' ability to integrate across disciplines.The innovations of this research are as follows:(1)This study combines the connotation and characteristics of STEAM concept with general technology project-based teaching to form a new general technology project-based teaching method and solve the problems existing in the actual teaching,which is a perspective innovation.(2)This research puts forward an instructional design process of the General Technology Project-based on the concept of STEAM,and summarizes it as instructional design model.
