Traditional physics teaching pays attention to teaching students systematic knowledge,pay attention to the study of abstract physics concepts and laws,presented to students most of the exercises are a single,complete condition to solve the problem of the model situation exercises,students only need to rely on the past experience,according to the specific steps to solve the problem by applying the known conditions,can get the answer to the problem.However,in the actual teaching,it is found that students can calmly face the "sea of questions",but it is difficult to solve practical problems.The original physics problem is the description of the physical phenomenon.The process of students’ solving the original physics problem is more similar to the process of solving the actual problem,which can effectively test the ability of students’ model construction.So what are the differences and connections between the physical situation problem and the original physics problem? Can physical situation problems effectively cultivate students’ ability to solve practical problems? What can teachers do in teaching to solve relevant problems? This paper carries out a study on this problem.First of all,this paper elaborates the background and significance of the research,the content and methods of the research,and uses the literature research method to understand the domestic and foreign research status and relevant theoretical knowledge of physical situational problems and original physical problems.Secondly,the concept of physical situation problem and original physical problem is defined,the characteristics of physical situation problem and original physical problem are summarized,and the connection and difference between them are concluded.Thirdly,according to the established research program,the paper conducts research from two aspects: on the one hand,according to the principles and methods of compiling test questions,the physical situation questions are selected and adapted into the corresponding original physics questions,and the same level classes are tested by the test method,and the test results are analyzed statistically and qualitatively,so as to preliminarily understand the differences between the current middle school students in solving the original physics problems and the physical situation exercises.On the other hand,teaching design is carried out based on the test results.The author takes Momentum Theorem as an example,and focuses on integrating original physical problems into the links of pre-class introduction,new lesson teaching,experimental exploration,and after-class exercises,so as to cultivate students’ ability to solve practical problems.The results of this study are as follows:(1)Compared with the physical situation questions,the original physics questions can better identify students’ ability level;(2)High school students are more interested in solving original physics problems than physical situation problems;(3)The students’ ability to solve the original physics problem is obviously lower than the ability to solve the physical situation problem,which is reflected in the inability to find the entrance to the problem,the lack of rigor in thinking,the lack of the ability to connect theory with practice.(4)There are obvious differences in the cognitive level of students when they solve the physics situational problems and the original physics problems,which are reflected in the different cognitive starting point,the different analysis process and the different ability requirements.(5)There is a difference in the application of scientific methods between the original physics problems and the physical situation problems,which is reflected in that the original physics problems usually need to start from the phenomenon and adopt the method of analysis and induction,while the physical situation problems usually start from the known conditions and adopt the method of positive and negative deduction and deductive.Therefore,some teaching suggestions are put forward,that is,proper introduction of original physics problems into teaching,emphasis on cultivating students’ ability of model construction,and selection of exercises with a high degree of contextualization or appropriate selection of original physics problems as exercises for students to consolidate and improve their daily life.To a certain extent,this study can provide some enlightenment and reference for cultivating students’ ability of model construction and solving practical problems,and developing teachers’ professional level.
