With the improvement of people’s living standard and the deepening of aging degree,the demand and service level of nursing staff are constantly improving.As an important force in the development of the elderly care service industry,the service experience and work quality of the nursing staff,especially the vocational skill level,should be paid attention to.However,at the present stage,the nursing staff presents the characteristics of older age,low education level and low professional skills.Professional vocational skills training is an important way to help nursing staff cultivate professional ethics and enhance professional skills.Therefore,this paper takes the vocational skills improvement of elderly care workers as the research topic,and takes Shenzhen "Yue Training,Yue Can Do" elderly care worker group as an example,in order to enhance the vocational skills of elderly care workers.In this paper,questionnaire method and interview method were used to collect the current situation and demand of the vocational skills of the elderly care workers in Shenzhen S community.After analyzing the data,it was found that the elderly care workers had low willingness to participate in vocational skills training,weak professional theoretical knowledge and low level of vocational skills.The problems of vocational skills are specifically manifested in the lack of solid life care skills,weak basic care skills,lack of rehabilitation service skills and lack of understanding of psychological support skills.The reasons are the shackles of traditional concepts,lack of learning ability,lack of vocational skills training and so on.Secondly,according to the requirements of the training program and the status quo of vocational skills to determine the training personnel,training instructors and training content.Then,the elderly care workers participating in the training were screened,and 16 students were selected as research objects and randomly divided into experimental group and control group.Vocational skill groups in four aspects of life care,basic care,rehabilitation services and psychological support were involved in the experimental group,while no intervention was carried out in the control group.From the perspective of social work,this paper carries out nine group activities under the guidance of social support theory,social learning theory and empowerment theory.Through group activities,we helped nursing staff to relieve work and psychological pressure,re-understand the profession of nursing staff,improve their professional identity and enhance their professional skills.After the end of the group,the vocational skills improvement of the two groups was compared,and it was found that the experimental group had better vocational skills improvement effect.After the evaluation and reflection of the group activities,the following conclusions are drawn: the intervention of group work in the vocational skills training project of nursing staff has a certain effect;Group work helps caregivers relieve work stress and expand social support networks;Group work has helped the nursing staff consolidate the effect of vocational skills training and improve their vocational skills.Finally,combining with the practical process,the author puts forward some suggestions:integrating social resources and building a multi-party cooperation system;Strengthen professional learning to enhance the professional competence of social workers;The social support network for elderly care workers will be expanded with the help of social work organization platforms.
