The oldest old and empty nesters proportion rising year by year in China’s process of aging Continue to strengthen,Elderly empty-nesters become the most vulnerable groups of population in the process of aging. Compared to other age groups for the elderly, the high widowed rate, a serious decline in physical function make the life care issue has become the most prominent of the Elderly empty-nesters.The research of social work intervention the aged empty nesters life care issues to compensate for the lack of government work, Stablize development of the aging process, promoting the harmonious development of social has great significance.Based on community study on the methods of casework, group work and community work intervention to elderly empty-nesters ’ s services in practice, In order to learn the basic situation of old empty nesters and further analysis of the existing life care situation of Dcommunity aged empty nesters, establish long-term service mechanism by visits 48 elderly empty-nesters of D community,and expand questionnaire, interviews with 12 aged empty nesters of Clear language to access to research data. From the results, the elderly material life is rich, healthy life care and home life care and other basic living needs can be met, but the spiritual life care relatively poor. Based on the basic situation of elderly empty-nesters, the present study investigated the feasibility and necessity of social work from the perspective of social work intervention services involved in elderly care life for empty nesters.Reference research results and based on the basic needs of the elderly, apply "self-reliance" philosophy of service, use methods of social work practice services, establish one to one counseling relationship with clients in Casework, prompt team members positive interaction in the process of group work forming a mutual support network. Elaborating Social Work intervention elderly empty-nesters and services effectiveness through casework and group activity process described.In the process of Social Work intervention aged empty nesters life care encounteredmany difficulties. In spite of life care needs of the elderly is high and empty nesters are normal service, there are all kind of difficulties to achieve the effect of daily service,such as the limitations of the social work profession quality and ability, timeliness of service restrictions, high mobility of Social worker, high difficulty of integration resources, lack of awareness of public social, confused relationship between social workers, volunteers and community workers, service relationship is difficult to establish in early. To solve these problems, research put forward Suggestions and Countermeasures from raising public awareness and acceptance of social work, clear positioning, improve the professional of social work’s services and forming project for aged empty nesters life care.Give substantive countermeasures and suggestions to solve the problem of elderly empty nesters through study of Social Work Practice involved in elderly empty nesters life care.Believe that social work as a new model and way to solve social issues will play an important role in various fields.
