Good emotional management ability is an important psychological quality that college students should have,and it is also one of the necessary professional qualities of in-service teachers.Pre-service teachers of special education have the dual identity of college students and future special education teachers.It is particularly important for them to have good emotional management ability.In recent years,researchers at home and abroad have paid more and more attention to the emotional management of college students and in-service teachers.However,the current research on the emotional management of in-service teachers is still temporarily focused on the field of general education,and the research on the emotional management of college students is also temporarily focused on medical related majors.Introducing the research of emotional management ability in the field of special education can help people understand the current situation and characteristics of emotional management ability of pre-service teachers of special education,and improve people’s attention to the cultivation of professional quality of pre-service teachers of special education in colleges and universities.Based on the theory of emotional intelligence,this study investigates the emotional management ability of college students by adapting the emotional management ability questionnaire,and compares the current situation and characteristics of the emotional management ability of pre-service teachers in special education.On the basis of the questionnaire,taking H university in S city as an example,interviews were conducted with pre-service teachers of special education major and teachers and managers of special education major in colleges and universities to supplement and understand the level of emotional management ability of pre-service teachers of special education major,analyze the influencing factors of emotional management ability,and explore the existing problems.On the basis of sorting out the relevant research results of emotional management at this stage,this paper adopted a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methods to carry out research,and summarized the collected data.The research results were as follows:(1)The overall situation of emotional management ability of preservice teachers in special education is good.Among college students,the emotional management ability of pre-service teachers in special education is better than that of other students;(2)The emotional management ability of pre-service teachers of special education majors shows some common characteristics of college students,and also shows some different characteristics from other professional college students.The differences include: The level of emotional management ability of pre-service teachers in special education majors of different genders is balanced,there are advantages in the cultivation of emotional management ability of pre-service teachers in special education majors,the emotional management ability of pre-service teachers in special education majors in graduation academic year is weak,the development of emotional understanding and expression ability of pre-service teachers in special education majors in different grades is balanced,and the environment of origin has an impact on the emotional management ability of pre-service teachers in special education majors;(3)The emotional management ability of pre-service teachers of special education is affected by many factors,among which external factors are the main influencing factors,covering individual factors,family environmental factors,school environmental factors and social environmental factors;(4)Professional learning has created favorable conditions for the cultivation of emotional management ability of pre-service teachers of special education,which makes the emotional management ability of pre-service teachers of special education show advantages in college students;(5)There is still some room for improvement in the cultivation of emotional management ability of preservice teachers majoring in special education.Based on the above results,this study puts forward relevant suggestions from the perspectives of self-improvement of emotional management ability of pre-service teachers of special education and college training,in order to provide help for the professional development of pre-service teachers of special education.
