According to the Chinese Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education(2022 edition),Chinese curriculum is committed to the formation and development of all students’ core qualities,laying a foundation for students to form a correct world outlook,outlook on life and values,and to form a good and sound personality.This requires that Chinese education should develop students’ ability while cultivating students’ Chinese literacy.Traditional single-article teaching can not meet the needs of students’ development.Based on questionnaire survey,practice lectures,literature and conversations,the author finds that there are fragmentation,piecemeal and "one-word" phenomena in the teaching of ancient Chinese in junior high schools,which cannot stimulate students’ interest in learning,leading to unsatisfactory teaching effect.This paper takes the theme-based teaching of ancient Chinese in junior high school as the research object,responds to the call of "new curriculum standard" to give play to students’ learning subjectivity,explores how to effectively combine ancient Chinese teaching with theme-based teaching under the guidance of Chinese curriculum standards,and how to implement the theme-based teaching of ancient Chinese in junior high school.This paper uses literature method,questionnaire method,analysis and induction method,experience summary method,practice method,etc.,expounds the basic concept and theoretical basis of theme-based teaching,puts forward the strategy of theme-based teaching of ancient Chinese in junior high school,and designs the theme-based teaching cases of ancient Chinese,in order to stimulate students’ interest in learning ancient Chinese,and give full play to the teaching value and educational value of ancient Chinese.To promote the inheritance and development of traditional culture,improve students’ comprehensive Chinese literacy,and achieve good teaching results in ancient Chinese teaching.
