With the rapid development of social economy,the issue of population aging has attracted social attention,and the study of rural elderly care is even more urgent.Especially for a typical province such as "getting old before getting rich" in G Province,the large output of labor forces has led to a sharp increase in the proportion of empty nest elderly people in G Province,and the trend of population aging,aging,and empty nest is becoming increasingly evident.In particular,the elderly care problem of rural widowed elderly people has become a "serious disaster area" in the elderly care industry.Based on the development reality of population aging in southwest China,through research on the development of elderly care services in G Province,and based on the social work intervention practice on the issue of rural widowed elderly in X County,G Province,this article takes the most concerned rural widowed elderly as the research object,and combines the objective reality of rural widowed elderly with low educational level,physiological function degradation,and lack of family care,from the perspective of more psychological problems,lack of support networks To address issues such as difficulties in daily care,inadequate medical services,and inadequate legal assistance,it is necessary to propose a "home school" type of elderly care and conduct practical research on it.Through the involvement of social workers,the use of professional theories and practical skills in social work,combined with the management model of "school" and the creation of "home" culture,based on the characteristics of localized development in rural areas,Develop social work services through "elderly class" and "home" cultural activities as operational service methods.Summarize and reflect on issues from practical exploration,further construct a "home school" elderly care approach from aspects such as practical concepts,service subjects,intervention methods,evaluation systems,and supervision mechanisms,and explore rural elderly care models suitable for southwest China under the severe situation of population aging,with a view to providing certain reference significance for relevant research and practice.
