| The report of the 20 th Party Congress pointed out that the fundamental task of establishing moral education should be carried out in order to cultivate socialist builders and successors who are well-rounded in their moral,intellectual,physical,social and aesthetic development,which fully reflects the important role of moral education in the overall development of students.The ideological and political education of the curriculum can effectively improve the ideological and political literacy of secondary school students,which is conducive to carrying out the fundamental task of moral cultivation and cultivating qualified talents in accordance with the needs of the new era.At present,there have been many reports on the research of the integration of curriculum ideology and politics into secondary school teaching at home and abroad,but there are relatively few studies on the integration of curriculum ideology and politics into high school biology teaching,and the depth of research is obviously insufficient.Accordingly,based on a comprehensive investigation of the current situation of the integration of curriculum ideology and politics into high school biology teaching and students’ existing cognitive level of thinking politics,this study proposes corresponding solution strategies from various aspects such as analysis of teaching materials and classroom teaching,writes teaching cases and carries out teaching practice,in order to provide a theoretical basis for the study of thinking politics in high school biology curriculum.The main research findings are as follows.⑴ Based on Du Zhenyu et al.’s(2020)system of curriculum ideological and political dimensions in biology subject(with slight modifications),the system of curriculum ideological and political dimensions in line with the 2019 Humanities Education Edition of the senior secondary biology subject is constructed in accordance with the core qualities of the senior secondary biology subject and the characteristics of the biology subject,and divided into five dimensions: patriotism,scientific spirit,value orientation,social responsibility and legal awareness.⑵Taking the students and biology teachers of a secondary school in Rizhao as the research subjects,through questionnaire survey,interview method and classroom observation method,we found that most teachers and students agree and expect the integration of curriculum ideology and politics into high school biology teaching,but there are still many problems such as insufficient construction of curriculum ideology and politics in schools,low importance of thinking politics education,lack of teachers’ curriculum ideological and political literacy,low frequency of curriculum ideological and political implementation and poor performance of students’ thinking politics literacy.⑶On the basis of the findings of the current situation and in combination with the literature,the corresponding solution strategies are proposed from four levels.This study fully explores and sorts out the curriculum thinking and political resources contained in the compulsory high school biology textbook of the Humanities Education Edition.To design the objectives of ideological and political education in accordance with the curriculum standards,teaching materials and learning conditions of general high school biology,and to enhance the effectiveness of ideological and political education by creating life situations,problem situations and experimental situations,etc.Teachers should strengthen their study of the theory of curriculum ideology and politics and make full use of multimedia and various teaching tools to help students establish a correct philosophy of thinking and politics.Schools should strengthen the construction of curriculum ideology and politics and establish a diversified,process-oriented teaching evaluation system.⑷ Through the teaching practice of a secondary school in Rizhao City,the implementation of curriculum ideology and politics into the compulsory one textbook of high school biology,it was found that the teaching of curriculum ideology and politics in high school biology had a positive impact on students’ cognitive level of thinking and politics,their interest in learning and their attitude towards learning,which was especially reflected in the significant increase in students’ cognitive level of thinking and politics,their interest in learning biology,and their enthusiasm in learning the content of the textbook and discussing the topical social issues related to biology. |
