| Crystal structure is one of the important contents of chemistry teaching,which is abstract,microscopic,and complex.It requires high levels of students’ visual spatial thinking.In the actual teaching process,it has been found that there are many obstacles for students to solve problems with crystal structure content during the learning process.Research has shown that visual teaching can depict micro abstract content,display dynamic processes in chemistry,help students achieve spatial imagination of crystal structure and reduce students’ cognitive load.Visualizing crystal structures in teaching can help students develop spatial thinking,overcome learning barriers,and improve their problem-solving abilities in crystal structures.For the above reasons,this study mainly discusses three issues:(1)What are the learning disabilities of students in the crystal structure part? How do different visual teaching formats contribute to student learning?(2)How to construct and apply the crystal structure visualization teaching model to the crystal structure theme teaching?(3)What is the effect of visual teaching on students’ crystal structure problem solving ability?Through literature research and investigation,the current situation of visualization teaching and the distribution of difficulties in crystal structure problems were identified.A crystal structure visualization teaching model was designed and applied to teaching practice based on the current visualization teaching strategy and crystal structure course content,and the impact of the designed visualization teaching model on students’ ability to solve crystal structure problems was explored.The research results indicate that the crystal structure visualization teaching model has good teaching practice effects,and its application in crystal themed teaching can effectively improve students’ ability to solve crystal structure problems. |
