The issue of physics articulation between middle and high schools has always been one of the hot issues in the research of secondary school physics education.Compared with junior high school physics,the concepts and laws of physics in high school are more abstract,and the ability to reason and judge problems is higher,and the ability to calculate mathematical calculations is also higher.Therefore,one of the most important tasks in the first year of high school is to help students adapt to the learning rhythm of high school physics as soon as possible,reduce the fear of high school physics problems,and improve the ability to solve physical problems.The improvement of physical problem solving ability is inseparable from the participation of students’ thinking activities,but due to the inability to visualize the thinking process,this paper introduces visual teaching to visualize the thinking process of teachers and students,help students better understand the essence of the problem,and hope to improve students’ problem-solving ability and stimulate students’ interest in learning physics.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature research,questionnaire survey,experimental method and so on,makes a theoretical analysis on the relevant theoretical basis,the research status at home and abroad and the scientificity and feasibility of the application of visual teaching in improving the ability to solve physical problems,mainly analyzes some difficulties encountered by senior one students in the process of solving physical problems and examples of visual teaching design to solve these difficulties.In this paper,taking the students of the eighth class of the first year of high school and the tenth class of the first year of high school as the research object,the research period is from February 2022 to April 2022,based on the actual cases of teaching and combined with theoretical analysis,a certain empirical study is made on visual teaching to improve the physical problem solving ability of high school students.This paper mainly studies the practical application of visual teaching in the teaching of physics in the first year of high school,and the effect of visual teaching on improving students’ physics problem solving ability is more obvious than that of traditional teaching.After empirical research,the experimental data are analyzed,and it is found that visual teaching has a certain role in promoting students’ ability to solve physical problems,and receives good teaching results.Finally,the shortcomings of this study and the prospect of the topic are explained.This article is mainly divided into the following parts:The second part,enter the questionnaire stage.Based on the actual situation of a high school in Nanhai District,Foshan City,Guangdong Province,through the questionnaire survey of high school students and the questionnaire analysis of teachers,we can understand the difficulties and main reasons that high school students will encounter in the process of solving physical problems.The second part is mainly the questionnaire survey stage.Based on the actual situation in the author’s district,through the questionnaire survey of high school students and the questionnaire of teachers,we can understand the difficulties and main reasons that high school students will encounter in the process of solving physical problems.The third part proposes a case study of visual instructional design.Through theoretical analysis and survey result analysis,the scientific and feasibility of visual teaching should be applied to improve students’ physical problem solving ability,and the visual teaching design is proposed.The fourth part is to conduct empirical research.According to the visual teaching design,the educational practice of high school physics teaching and the application of visual teaching in the cultivation of physics problem solving ability of high school students are explained.The fifth part summarizes and prospects this research.Through the data analysis after the educational practice research,feedback is given to the teaching effect of visual teaching applied to the problem-solving ability of high school students,summarizes the effectiveness of the research and reflects on the shortcomings of the research.
