| In daily life, drinking water practice plays a special role in the consumption of natural resources by residents. There is a large gap between the development levels of various cities in China, among which the form and logic of drinking water practice of urban residents are very different, and the particularity of drinking water practice of liuyang citizens from mountain spring water is more obvious. In this paper, from the perspective of social practice theory, qualitative analysis method is used to regard residents’ mountain spring water drinking as the product of interaction between individual actors’ initiative and social structure, and analyze it from four levels: objective material attribute, use purpose orientation, emotional value demand and practical consciousness construction.Investigate the form and internal logic of liuyang citizens’ drinking practice of mountain spring water in specific time and space. The investigation shows that the drinking practice of liuyang residents has undergone a process of change from river drinking to tap drinking and then to spring drinking, and the current spring drinking is divided into two different practice forms of "drawing water" and "buying water".After investigating the change course of drinking water practice and the formation logic behind the two practice forms,it is concluded that:first, the objective materiality of spring water itself and the physical experience it can bring are the objective basis of liuyang residents’ drinking water from spring water;Secondly, residents’ choice and purpose of drinking water health is the subjective cornerstone of residents’ choice of drinking spring water.Thirdly, the local sense of belonging and other emotional satisfaction brought by spring water drinking are the psychological motivation to promote residents’ spring water drinking. Finally, drinking water life knowledge and practice consciousness is the power to continue the residents spring water drinking practice. |
