| Malaria is one of the most serious public safety and health problems in the world. As the most important trading partner of Africa,China sends a large number of labor workers to sub Saharan Africa every year. These workers in Africa urgently need to establish effective awareness of malaria through obtaining health information to deal with the current risk of malaria infection.Based on the use and satisfaction theory, this paper constructs a malaria information acquisition behavior model of Chinese labor workers in Africa. The model consists of four core categories: motivation driven, channel selection, behavior implementation and result impact, with 17 sub themes.Driven by personal and external motivation,Chinese workers to Africa implement different malaria information acquisition behaviors based on their own channel judgment criteria,so as to obtain information satisfaction and promote concept generation. The study found that the malaria information obtained by workers through the Internet is extremely limited. When their needs are not met, they will reduce their willingness to continue to use the Internet to search information and gradually turn to more supportive interpersonal channels. Therefore, this paper puts forward corresponding malaria information dissemination countermeasures around network channels and organizational channels,in order to make good use of their respective channel advantages, make up for the deficiencies in the process of malaria information dissemination, and make suggestions for Chinese labor workers in Africa. |
