| Life education has important significance and value in promoting children’s understanding of the source of life,cultivating good living habits,developing healthy emotions,promoting children’s socialization,and helping children establish a positive outlook on life.In recent years,early childhood life education has received increasing attention and research from many scholars,but research on early childhood life education in ethnic minority areas is currently relatively weak.Life education,as an education with regional,ethnic characteristics and cultural attributes,is closely related to local resources.Carrying out life education in kindergartens requires attention to the advantages of regional resources and ethnic cultural attributes.This study aims to organize and sort out relevant research on early childhood life education both domestically and internationally.Firstly,a questionnaire survey and interview methods were used to randomly select 108 preschool teachers(14 of whom participated in the interview)as samples,and to investigate and study the current implementation of life education in kindergartens in ethnic minority areas,teachers’ attitudes towards life education,and their educational and teaching abilities.Secondly,guided by the theory of "local context" and based on the advantages of local resources,we will construct a life education curriculum for kindergartens in ethnic minority areas.Finally,the action research method was used to carry out practical exploration in Class M of S Kindergarten(32 children participated),explore the implementation of regional life education teaching activities in kindergartens,and explore the growth and development of children in life cognition,life health,life emotion,life value and other aspects.Research has found that there has been some practical exploration in early childhood life education in the Tongliao region of Inner Mongolia,but the quality of life education in kindergartens in ethnic minority areas urgently needs to be improved,mainly manifested in insufficient attention to life education,weak awareness of life education concepts among preschool teachers,lack of teaching ability,ineffective utilization of life education resources,and insufficient resource development.In order to better promote life education in kindergartens in ethnic minority areas,it is necessary to develop courses that integrate regional resources and ethnic culture into life education.Action research has proved that the practice of kindergarten life education curriculum based on the theory of "local context" is more appropriate,which can better integrate regional resources and ethnic culture into the kindergarten life education curriculum,and can more effectively promote the development of children’s self cognition,parent-child relationship,teacher child interaction,peer relationship,pro environmental awareness and behavior,and life cognition,It can better enhance teachers’ professional literacy and abilities related to life education.Research suggests that to strengthen life education in kindergartens in ethnic minority areas,the first step is to strengthen the development of life education curriculum in kindergartens in ethnic minority areas,including ensuring that the content is close to children’s lives and returns to nature.The curriculum implementation is mainly organized through life experience,and effectively combines local resources to carry out life education;Secondly,it is necessary to enhance the professional sensitivity of preschool teachers regarding life education;Finally,strengthen social support for early childhood life education.This study has to some extent enriched the research on life education in kindergartens,especially the relevant theoretical research on life education in ethnic minority areas.In practice,it also provides useful practical references for the development of life education in kindergartens in ethnic minority areas. |
