| The development of the times and the progress of society have increasingly higher requirements for talent training.The Ministry of Education has proposed in the new round of basic education curriculum reform that education should be people-oriented and promote students’ adaptation to the needs of social development by cultivating their core literacy.Education teaching to cultivate students’ core literacy specifically falls on each discipline,and deep learning aims to focus on students’ critical thinking and innovative development to achieve the cultivation of disciplinary core literacy,which coincides with the current requirements of China’s talent training,and deep learning has become an important way to cultivate students’ development of disciplinary core literacy in teaching.How to promote students’ deep learning requires thinking about the relationship between teachers’ teaching and students’ learning.Teachers’ facilitation of students’ learning is reflected in the teaching design,which is eventually implemented into the classroom after continuous research and improvement.Through the literature,we found that the unit teaching design has the role of promoting students’ deep learning and implementing core literacy.Therefore,according to the characteristics of senior high school geography subject and senior high school students’ learning,with reference to the Deeper Learning Cycle and unit teaching design model,we integrate and construct senior high school geography unit teaching design process based on deep learning,promote students’ deep learning according to the action instructions preset by unit teaching design,and further penetrate the cultivation of core literacy in geography.The study firstly elaborates the background of the study through literature research method,determines the purpose,content and significance of the study,clarifies the concepts and characteristics of deep learning and unit teaching design,and sorts out the relevant theoretical knowledge base.Secondly,a questionnaire survey was conducted to understand the current teachers’ understanding of deep learning and the use of unit teaching design,and it was found that teachers use unit teaching design to promote students’ deep learning less;on the other hand,it was learned that there are some problems in the current learning of geography for high school students,which are reflected in the weak initiative and participation of students in learning,the poor ability of independent learning,the low ability of knowledge transfer and application,and the majority of students’ learning has not yet reached the level of deep learning,etc.The comprehensive analysis of the survey results makes it necessary to develop unit teaching design to promote students’ deep learning.Then,based on the research results,we refer to the basic features of deep learning and unit teaching design,and use the integration of Deeper Learning Cycle and unit teaching design ADDIE model to scientifically construct senior high school geography unit teaching design process that promotes students’ deep learning.The process consists of five main parts: analyzing unit teaching themes,designing unit teaching objectives,developing unit learning activities,implementing lesson teaching sessions,and conducting continuous evaluation.A case study is designed according to the deep learning-based senior high school geography unit teaching design process.The case study of "Industrial Location Selection" was designed using senior high school geography unit teaching design process based on deep learning.During the educational internship,two classes with no significant difference in performance were selected for practical teaching using the experimental control method.After the practical teaching,the test scores,mind mapping and student interviews of the two classes were analyzed.The results show that the teaching practice of senior high school geography unit teaching design based on deep learning can promote students’ deep learning,which is manifested in the enhancement of students’ learning initiative,the improvement of the ability to construct knowledge,the improvement of the ability to solve problems,and the promotion of students’ learning achievement,At the same time,it cultivates teachers’ overall teaching concept to a certain extent and enhances their ability to dig and integrate teaching contents,but it still needs teachers’ practice training for a long time.Therefore,the teaching design of senior high school geography units based on deep learning can promote the occurrence and improvement of students’ deep learning,cultivate students’ geography core literacy,provide teachers with references for teaching behaviors,and have positive significance in promoting the common progress of teachers and students. |
