Self-efficacy was first proposed by the American psychologist Bandura in the 1970 s.It refers to the individual’s judgment and belief on whether he can complete a task before he performs it,and the belief that he has the ability to complete the task.For secondary vocational students,this sense of self-efficacy is a degree of confidence that they can use the learned knowledge and skills to complete or solve problems in study and life.At present,Chinese secondary vocational education pays more attention to students’ technical skills and teamwork ability than ordinary high school education.Especially,image processing course of secondary vocational school is the core course of e-commerce major,which requires students to have certain practical ability and innovation ability.However,due to the failure of the secondary vocational school entrance examination,the students’ self-confidence is frustrated and they hold a negative attitude towards their own ability.In addition,in the teaching of secondary vocational courses,many teachers still adopt the traditional cramming teaching method,which is not conducive to the development of technical ability of secondary vocational students,nor is it conducive to the improvement of innovative thinking ability.Students cannot follow many operational knowledge step by step,and then lose the motivation and interest in learning.Students just deal with the class without really experiencing the fun of graphics and image processing courses.In the long run,this will affect students’ sense of self-efficacy.The Jigsaw method,also known as the jigsaw method or the piecetogether method,was developed by Professor Aronson and his colleagues in 1978 and has been used abroad for many years.The Jigsaw teaching method emphasizes cooperative learning,and the curriculum standards of secondary vocational schools also emphasize that students’ cooperative ability is highly consistent.jigsaw is different from traditional cooperative learning.It takes students as the main body of learning,and adopts the grouping principle of "heterogeneity within the group,homogeneity between groups" to mobilize every student’s sense of participation,and really improve students’ autonomous learning ability and cooperation ability,so as to improve students’ sense of self-efficacy.In recent years,many experts and scholars have applied jigsaw teaching method in different stages and disciplines such as high school English reading,college nursing,high school physics and primary school English teaching.However,there are few researches on computer related majors in secondary vocational schools or vocational schools.Therefore,this paper will use jigsaw teaching method in the graphics and image processing course of secondary vocational school to explore the influence of jigsaw teaching method on the self-efficacy of secondary vocational students learning Photoshop.This paper mainly discusses the following two problems:First,does the use of jigsaw teaching method in the graphics and image processing course of secondary vocational schools have an impact on students’ sense of self-efficacy? If so,in what ways?Second,whether the use of jigsaw teaching method in the graphics and image processing course of secondary vocational school has an impact on students’ mastering of Photoshop skills? If so,what are the differences compared to traditional teaching?With questionnaire,computer test and interview as the research methods and tools,this study took 28 students from a class majoring in ecommerce in a vocational technical school in Guiyang as the research objects.The research lasted 68 hours,and the self-efficacy questionnaire analysis was conducted on the students with SPSS27.0.1.Adobe Photoshop CS6 was used on the computer to test the mastery of photoshop skills,and Word2016 was used to record the interviews of students.The results show that:(1)the overall improvement of the students’ self-efficacy in the experimental stage is significantly higher than that in the control stage.The jigsaw teaching method can have a positive impact on the students’ self-efficacy in the image processing course learning;(2)Under the influence of Jigsaw teaching method,students are more innovative in the graphics designed by Photoshop,add their own ideas to the element design,and become more proficient in skills,which is not achieved by students under traditional teaching.Therefore,jigsaw teaching method can improve students’ self-efficacy,innovation ability and cooperation ability in the learning of graphics and image processing courses in secondary vocational schools.This provides a new teaching idea for the graphics and image processing course teaching in secondary vocational schools.
