Mr.Ye Shengtao is one of the pioneers of Chinese education and one of the most outstanding educators in the field of Chinese education.In his more than 70 years of teaching and research,he has gradually formed a unique composition teaching ideological system,and put forward such important composition concepts as "writing popularization","writing life","honesty" and "common" and "good",which have a profound influence on contemporary Chinese education.Guided by Mr.Ye Shengtao’s concept of composition teaching and combined with the current situation of Chinese teaching,this paper tries to explore effective ways to improve the current predicament of Chinese composition teaching in first-line high schools,stimulate students’ interest in writing and improve students’ writing level.The first chapter systematically expounds the background of Ye Shengtao’s idea of composition teaching,mainly from three aspects of culture,political economy and subject development analysis,specific to the influence of western modern educational thought,the awakening of the public after the political reform,the influence of educators in the same period,Chinese subject to achieve independent development status and so on.The second chapter,on the basis of the analysis of the background of Ye Shengtao’s composition teaching concept,elaborates the core ideas of Ye Shengtao’s composition teaching concept,namely the "popularization and life","honesty","general" and "good","absorption" and "pouring out","teachers into the water" and so on.It provides theoretical support for the application of Ye Shengtao’s composition teaching thought in senior high school composition teaching.The third chapter mainly studies the value of Ye Shengtao’s composition teaching thought in high school composition teaching from three aspects: improving the writing teaching effect,correcting students’ writing attitude and improving teachers’ teaching methods.The fourth chapter investigates and interviews the current situation of senior high school composition teaching and the application of Ye Shengtao’s composition teaching thought in senior high school composition teaching by means of questionnaire survey and interview.Based on the survey results,the problems and causes of senior high school composition teaching are analyzed,and then the three aspects of scientific setting of composition objectives,reasonable formulation of composition teaching methods and correct use of composition evaluation methods are discussed.Finally,taking the writing task of Unit 6 of Volume 1 and Unit1 of Volume 2 of this textbook as an example to carry out teaching practice,through specific teaching plan design,explore the feasibility of Ye Shengtao’s composition teaching thought in high school Chinese composition teaching.
