Research On Kang Youwei’s Thought Of Preschool Physical Education

In the process of studying early childhood education in China and the West,Kang Youwei formed his own ideological system of early childhood physical education with the characteristics of the times.The purpose of studying Kang Youwei’s thoughts on preschool physical education is to develop the physical and mental potential of contemporary children,enhance their physique,cultivate their interest in sports,promote the socialization development of individual children,reorganize and refine Kang Youwei’s educational ideology,further enrich China’s current theoretical system of preschool education,and provide reference for the development of modern preschool physical education.Through the methods of literature review,field investigation,expert interviews,and historical analysis,this paper conducts a comprehensive analysis and arrangement of Kang Youwei’s ideological system of preschool physical education.The emergence and formation of Kang Youwei’s thoughts on preschool physical education were mainly influenced by the six arts of the pre Qin period,Lingnan culture,German and Japanese army nationalist education,European and American school physical education thoughts,as well as their background and personal experiences.Improve the purpose of early childhood physical education guided by "strengthening the nation through strong breeding",the spirit of early childhood physical education with enlightenment thoughts,attach importance to the impact of parents and early childhood education and care personnel on early childhood physical activities,the early childhood physical education concept of emphasizing "moral,intellectual,and physical education" as the principle,advocate early childhood physical activities focusing on games,gymnastics,and travel,propose the educational proposition of abandoning foot binding,and promoting female education It is proposed that the main content of Kang Youwei’s idea of preschool physical education is to configure children’s playground equipment.Kang Youwei advocated the spirit of "advocating martial arts and patriotism",promoting the vigorous development of the patriotic revolutionary movement;Exposing the drawbacks of the feudal educational system and advocating comprehensive moral,intellectual,and physical quality education;It influenced the formation of the modern education system and had a great impact on the Guimao school system;Advocating girls’ freedom and promoting the rise of modern women’s sports.By studying Kang Youwei’s ideological system of early childhood physical education,this paper analyzes the insufficient understanding of the ontological function of early childhood physical education in his thoughts and the limitations of his feudal ideology,and expounds that his ideological system provides ideas for attaching importance to the combination of school sports and family sports,laying the foundation for cultivating fully developed young children,stimulating the fun of early childhood sports,and enriching and improving sports equipment,Provide reference for the current development of preschool sports in China.
