The introduction part of this paper covers the research origin,research significance,literature review and research ideas and methods.In addition,it includes four chapters: The first chapter is an overview of modern and contemporary prose teaching under the task group of "literary reading and creative expression" in junior high school Chinese,specifically including the overview of task group theory and the discussion of relevant theories of modern and contemporary prose reading teaching;The second chapter,based on practice,investigates the current situation of modern and contemporary prose reading teaching in junior high school through questionnaires and interviews,and analyzes the problems in modern and contemporary prose teaching.The third chapter is the summary and cause analysis of the problems in modern and contemporary prose teaching.The fourth chapter is to propose targeted teaching strategies based on the teaching requirements contained in the "literary reading and creative expression" task group,aiming at the teaching problems found above;The fifth chapter takes the fourth unit of the first volume of the eighth grade in the unified edition of the junior high school Chinese textbook as an example,based on the teaching requirements of the "literary reading and creative expression" task group,gives an example of the contemporary prose teaching design in junior high school.
