| Geography is a basic subject with strong comprehensiveness and application.According to our country’s geography curriculum standard for Senior High School(2017 edition revised in 2020),the aim of geography training in senior high school is to further improve the comprehensive quality of students and to cultivate the core literacy of geography.Among the four core literacy of geography,regional cognitive literacy plays an important role.Therefore,senior high school teachers should carry out geography teaching consciously and pertinently so as to meet the requirements of educational reform.Extensive collection and reference of relevant theories and literature,reference to the existing results and experience,for the thesis to provide a theoretical framework and methodology.A questionnaire on the training of regional cognitive literacy and a test on the regional cognitive ability of senior high school students in the daily teaching of geography were compiled,from the perspective of teachers and students,the present situation and problems of senior high school students’ regional cognitive literacy cultivation.By analyzing the questionnaire,the author draws some preliminary conclusions:geography teachers do not have a deep understanding of the connotation of regional cognitive literacy,and many of them lack the study and study of relevant theories,there are some problems in the classroom,such as the insufficient design of teaching activities for the cultivation of regional cognitive literacy and the lack of participation in teaching skills competitions,etc.,can not grasp the differences between regions,can not objectively evaluate the direction of regional development,sorting out the lack of geographical information capacity and other issues.In view of the above problems,this thesis puts forward the principles of cultivating senior high school students’ regional cognitive ability,and puts forward the strategies from the perspectives of teachers and students.In terms of teachers: schools and local education departments need to carry out regular training in the cognitive development of geographical areas,and actively organize teachers to participate in teacher skills competitions so that teachers can be promoted.At the same time,teachers and students can also carry out relevant lectures to promote exchanges and cooperation between them,thus enhancing their regional cognitive level.From the student’s point of view: from the regional positioning,regional characteristics of analysis,comparison of different regional differences,evaluation of regional development direction,enhance the ability of information processing and other aspects of training,promote the improvement of students’ regional cognitive literacy.Based on the practice of geography teaching in senior high school,this thesis studies the development of Students’ regional cognitive literacy,takes the geography curriculum of Senior High School of People’s education edition as an example,designs teaching activities on the relevant contents,and strengthens the cultivation of senior high school students’ regional cognitive literacy,it is hoped that this thesis can provide some reference for the educators in the same field in the aspect of high school students’ regional cognitive literacy. |
