Adolescent parent-child conflict has always been a topic of wide concern in developmental psychology research. This paper takes teenagers as the research object, studies whether they can understand and comprehend the ideology of their parents, and makes an in-depth analysis of the interaction between their self-control ability and parent-child relationship. In order to find the factors that influence the conflict between parents and children. This study hopes to obtain a more comprehensive understanding of parent-child conflicts in junior high school families by comparing the differences in teenagers’ perception of parental awareness, and explore the possible interaction between the characteristics of junior high school students’ perception of parental awareness and parent-child conflicts,so as to provide guidance and help for alleviating parent-child conflicts in daily practice and promoting the formation of a good parent-child relationship. After consulting relevant theoretical literature, the questionnaire of parents’ awareness perceived by junior middle school students was compiled on the basis of the questionnaire of adolescent parents’ awareness compiled by Diao Jing(2007)by changing the subject’s perspective.327 junior high school students from a school in Jinan area were selected as the test subjects, and the characteristics of parental consciousness perceived by the junior high school students were analyzed.Starting with the relationship between junior high school students’ self-control level, perceived parental awareness and parent-child conflict, the method of stepwise regression analysis is adopted to explore the influence of junior high school students’ self-control ability and perceived parental awareness on parent-child conflict. The research shows that junior high school students’ self-control ability and parent-child conflict have a significant negative predictive relationship.Perceived parental awareness plays a partial mediating role between self-control and parent-child conflict in junior middle school students.
