| The major of ideological and political education is to cultivate talents with both moral and talent,with good quality of modern ideological and political education and Marxist theoretical cultivation as the fundamental goal.“To govern the country well we must first govern the frontiers well,and to govern the frontiers well we must first ensure stability in Tibet.” Ideological and political education in Tibetan universities is both an inherent requirement for improving the level of education in the Tibetan region and an important guarantee for the construction of ideological security in the Tibetan region.The issue of professional identity of Ideological and Political Education in Tibetan Universities is related to whether they can shoulder the important task of spreading Marxist theory and promoting ideological security in the Tibetan region.Therefore,it is particularly important to carry out research on the professional identity of ideological and political education students in Tibetan universities.This study takes the form of questionnaires and interviews with a sample of current students of ideological and political education majors throughout the range of Tibetan universities.Through the analysis of the sampled data,the current situation of the professional identity of Tibetan university students majoring in ideological and political education is elucidated,and the differences in the dimensions of their demographic variables are explored.The results of the study show that: firstly,the degree of professional identity of students majoring in ideological and political education in Tibetan universities is relatively high.The four dimensions of professional identity from high to low are,professional value(M=3.645),professional conduct(M=3.600),professional cognition(M=3.586)and professional emotion(M=3.579).Secondly,in terms of demographic variables,students of different genders show significant differences in their emotions and behaviors.Students from different places of origin showed significant differences in affective dimension and professional identity.Through the interviews with the ideological and political education students in Tibetan universities and through coding,it can be seen that the three main factors influencing professional identity are social factors,school factors and personal factors.In this study,based on an in-depth analysis of the interview questionnaire,through the interviews with Tibetan college ideological and political education students,and through the coding can be known that the professional identity is influenced by three main factors,namely social factors,school factors and personal factors.The factors affecting the professional identity of Tibetan college ideological and political education students were analyzed at three levels: students,schools and society.Among them,the student-level factors contain motivation for professional choice,motivation for professional learning,students’ professional level and students’ personal reasons.The school level mainly contains the learning environment,subject curriculum and teachers’ team.The social level includes social recognition,support from others and professional employment prospects.Based on the current situation and influencing factors of professional identity in ideological and political education in Tibetan universities,this study also discusses the strategies for improving the professional identity of ideological and political education in Tibetan colleges and universities from the levels of students,schools and society.Specifically,students need to strengthen their internal construction,strengthen their ideals and beliefs,and improve their professional ability.Schools should set up complete teaching curricula,strengthen the construction of teachers,and teachers adhere to the value concept of "cultivating people with virtue".The society should increase the degree of professional recognition of ideological and political majors,strengthen the construction of disciplines,and provide social support. |
