Today,with the continuous development of China’s economy,as the process of urbanization continues to accelerate,especially during the period of economic transformation,the Chinese government has taken the initiative to adjust the economic structure in accordance with the economic development model.The transition from maintaining growth rate to ensuring quality has led multiple national departments to jointly issue various policies to ensure that the basic form of employment in China is stable and improving,and strive to ensure that the people achieve high-quality full employment.Therefore,with the continuous development of the economy,various forms of flexible employment groups are beginning to emerge in China,such as online taxi drivers who are different from traditional taxis,full-time takeout riders who deliver meals,live streaming of sales platforms from offline to online,and door-to-door chefs who bring stoves into families.Flexible employment has become an important way to solve the difficult employment problem in China.Moreover,due to the impact of the COVID-19,flexible employment is favored by people with its flexible characteristics.The number of flexible employees has shown a rapid increase compared with that in,and flexible employment has developed into an important and indispensable way of employment in China.Based on this,this article uses CLDS 2018 survey data,starting from the perspective of flexible employment personnel participating in pension insurance,and uses STATA17.0 empirical analysis software to explore the possible impact of flexible employment personnel participating in pension insurance on their quality of life.On this basis,a sample robustness matching analysis is conducted using the PSM propensity score matching method,and different characteristics of flexible employment personnel such as age Whether education level and household income will have different impacts on the above impacts.Through empirical research,this article finds that flexible employees who choose to participate in basic old-age insurance have a higher quality of life than flexible employees who do not participate in basic old-age insurance,and those who participate in urban employee old-age insurance have a higher quality of life than those who participate in urban and rural residents old-age insurance.Different types of old-age insurance have different impacts on the quality of life of flexible employees.The above conclusions are still stable after PSM propensity score matching analysis.In addition,the empirical results also show that the older the flexible employment population is,the higher the impact of pension insurance on the quality of life is.The flexible employment population with higher education background is,the greater the impact of pension insurance on the quality of life is.The flexible employment population with higher family income level is,the greater the impact of pension insurance on the quality of life is.The main innovation of this article is that at present,China has paid low attention to the issue of the quality of life of flexible employment personnel,and there are few relevant documents related to this issue,and there is no systematic and complete research results.Therefore,this paper is conducted from this perspective.At the same time,due to the continuous emergence of flexible employment personnel,the data obtained in this article lacks novelty and needs to be further improved in the future. |
