The Outline of the National Medium-and Long-Term Education Reform and Development Plan(2010-2020)clearly states that it is necessary to cultivate highquality specialized talents and top-notch innovative talents,and improve the talent training system.It is an important place for cultivating talents in universities.At the same time,universities are also the key stage for students to grow up.The adaptability of college students to schools is an important factor that determines the growth and success of freshmen.Freshmen’s school adaptation not only affects the students’ learning achievements in the university stage,but also affects the students’ future development.Therefore,this study starts from the essence of college students’ school adaptation,clarifies the present situation of college students’ school adaptation in China,analyzes the influencing factors of college students’ school adaptation,and provides countermeasures from the aspect of entrance education to improve college students’ school adaptation ability.This study focuses on the adaptability of freshmen in our country,takes entrance education as the breakthrough point,and aims at improving the adaptability of freshmen.The main framework of the study is as follows: The first part,the significance of college freshmen’s school adaptability,combs the definition of school adaptability and its basic elements,and based on the current situation of college freshmen’s school adaptability in China,digs out the time value of improving college freshmen’s school adaptability.The second part investigates the current situation of college freshmen’s adaptability in China.Through the questionnaire survey of the freshmen of Grade 2021,we find out the current situation of freshmen’s adaptation to the entrance education.The results show that most freshmen adapt well to the contents of the entrance education,but there are significant differences among freshmen from different places of origin and majors.The third part explores the main factors that affect the improvement of school adaptability.From four dimensions: students’ characteristics,school factors,family factors and social factors,this paper analyzes the fundamental reasons for the differences in freshmen’s adaptability to entrance education.The fourth part tries to put forward some countermeasures to improve the adaptability of freshmen.In view of the reasons for the lack of adaptability of freshmen’s schools,based on the rigid requirements of national policies and the inherent needs of students’ growth,this paper attempts to construct a content system of freshmen’s enrollment education,which consists of ideological and political education,military education,environmental identity education,adaptation education and professional education,and innovate the methods of enrollment education to enhance freshmen’s adaptability.The fifth part explores the safeguard mechanism of the countermeasures to improve the adaptability of freshmen in our country.From four aspects: improving the political position,perfecting the system and mechanism,innovating ways and means,and implementing the work responsibility,we can ensure the implementation of freshmen’s entrance education content,and promote the steady improvement of freshmen’s school adaptability.
