"Seeking a city through competition and developing a business through competition" is the development direction of Chengdu,and high-quality competition activities are also the way to promote Chengdu to become a "world famous competition city".Among them,the sports event company,as the most important organizational unit in the event,plays a key role in the development of the event.In 2021,the "14th Five-Year Plan for Sports Development" issued by the General Administration of Sport of the People’s Republic of China mentioned:Accelerate the construction of an independent brand sports event system,and focus on cultivating 10 famous sports events cities with greater influence.In the same year,"Chengdu’s " 14 th Five-Year Plan " World Events Famous City Construction Plan" was released: Chengdu will be built into a world famous event city by 2025,and at least 50 international and national events will be held every year.The government’s emphasis on the attention of sports events has led to an increase in the number of registrations of sports-related enterprises in my country,which has promoted the continuous expansion of the scale of the sports industry.Therefore,the number of events undertaken by sports event companies is increasing day by day,and sports events are gradually becoming internationalized,diversified,and professional,which has made new requirements for sports services.The employees of the sports event company are the organizers of the event and have direct contact with the participants.The satisfaction of employees with their work will affect their service quality.As a niche and emerging enterprise,sports event companies will inevitably have some obstacles in human resource management during the rapid development of event companies.Among them,the level of employee satisfaction is the key factor affecting the sustainable development of event companies.In addition,Chengdu is building a "world famous event city",so this study takes the employees of small and medium-sized sports event companies in Chengdu as the research object,investigates their job satisfaction and its influencing factors,and puts forward suggestions for the developing small and medium-sized sports event companies.Relevant strategies have important practical significance for preventing employees from lax work and improving their job loyalty.Based on Herzberg’s two-factor theory,this research uses literature,questionnaire survey,field interview and mathematical statistics to gain an in-depth understanding of the current situation of small and medium-sized sports event companies in Chengdu and conduct interviews with employees.Combined with the research paradigm of the two-factor theory in the past literature,a questionnaire for job satisfaction of employees in small and medium-sized sports event companies in Chengdu was designed,and the questionnaire was further adjusted and improved by using factor analysis.,Salary and benefits,occupational stability and personal life;the sense of accomplishment,job recognition,work itself,sense of responsibility,promotion opportunities and growth of motivating factors are conducted in detail,and the health care and motivating factors in the work of employees of small and medium-sized sports companies in Chengdu are analyzed..In this study,each dimension of hygiene factors evaluates the average value of employee job satisfaction in order from low to high: interpersonal relationship,salary and benefits,policy and management,personal life,working conditions,and occupational stability.Ranking from low to high of motivator means: job recognition,job itself,sense of responsibility,sense of fulfillment,opportunity for advancement,and growth.The research shows that there is a certain discrepancy between the evaluation of job satisfaction of employees in small and medium-sized sports companies in Chengdu and the ranking of Herzberg’s two-factor evaluation.Therefore,according to the research results,the countermeasures for improving employee satisfaction of small and medium-sized sports event companies in Chengdu are proposed.Create interpersonal relationships that dare to communicate,are willing to communicate,and are good at communicating;timely improve the salary and welfare mechanism,establish a reasonable and fair salary system;strengthen company management and system construction,and provide employees with a stable working environment;strive to balance work and life,and effectively improve working conditions;The company takes the lead in organizing and providing employees with a personal development platform to consolidate their sense of accomplishment;use talents according to their ability,give full play to their individual strengths,and enhance their sense of responsibility;encourage and appreciate them in a timely manner to stimulate employees’ internal drive and innovation.
