Employee's job satisfaction means a kind of attitude or feeling about each aspect of their job. The enterprise, which can take the lead to change concept and construct a good environment to make its employees satisfied, will consequently result in an impregnable position. Also, it is important to Hunan International Economics University as well.Based on the review of the conceptions and theories of job satisfaction, it's assessment scales and the current research situations, the author made a tentative study on teacher's job satisfaction in Hunan International Economics University. Considering the regionalism and timeliness of job satisfaction, the author designed a questionnaire on teacher's job satisfaction, which had been proved to be of good reliability and validity. And the main results are as follows:1. There are nine kinds of assessment indexes of teacher's job satisfaction in Hunan International Economics University: repayment;occupation approval;leadership and management;working conditions;individual growth and development;training;organization;work itself and interpersonal relationship.2. In general, the teachers of Hunan International Economics University are satisfied with occupation approval, organization and interpersonal relationship. While, Leadership and management, training, individual growth and development can't make them satisfied.3. Male teachers are more satisfied with occupation approval and work itself than female teachers. There are obvious differences of satisfaction on such respects as repayment, training, organization, work itself and interpersonal relationship between teachers who have married or not. No evident differences are found among different lengths of service in this university.At the end of this thesis, some pieces of advice on improving the levels of teacher's job satisfaction in Hunan International Economics University are presented, according to the research results.
