Study On The Influence Effect Of Digital Economy On New Urbanization

The new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial transformation promote the rise of digital economy.During the 14 th Five-Year Plan period,the task of building digital China is particularly important,and the innovation drive of digital economy is also urgent.New urbanization is a comprehensive system of multidimensional concept,a combination of population,economy,environment,gradually from land as the core to people-centered,however,the current new level of urbanization is low,therefore,in order to promote the development of new urbanization,we need to seek more optimized way of resource allocation,digital economy helps to achieve this goal.Then,whether the digital economy can promote the construction of new urbanization,whether there is a transmission mechanism in the middle,whether there is a threshold effect of the influencing factors of digital economy on the construction of new urbanization,this thesis studies the above problems.This thesis takes 30 provinces and cities in China as the research object,and constructs the index system of digital economy and new urbanization respectively.It selects the panel data from 2011-2020,and uses the entropy right method to finally obtain the digital economy index and new urbanization index of each province and city.Secondly,in order to explore the influence effect of digital economy in different dimensions on new urbanization in different dimensions,the dynamic GMM estimation method is selected,and the model is constructed to explore the influence effect of digital economy on new urbanization.Then,the three intermediary variables of digital financial inclusion index,payment business and investment business in digital financial inclusion,are introduced to establish an intermediary effect model to study whether adding the intermediary variables will produce a comprehensive influence effect.Finally,each explanatory variable was studied as the threshold variable,and the regression results of the threshold model were analyzed to understand how the explanatory variables would have different effects on the explained variables in different intervals,and to explain the cause of the inflection point.After a series of empirical analyses,the following conclusions were finally drawn:(1)The digital economy index and the new urbanization index of different provinces and cities vary greatly,with obvious regional differences,but all regions are increasing year by year.(2)In addition to the significant negative impact of the digital industry scale on the urban degree,industrial development and economic quality,the other other dimensional digital economic indicators all have a positive impact on the new urbanization indicators of each dimension.(3)When the payment business is used as an intermediary variable,it can be found that the positive effect of digital infrastructure on the urban degree is significantly enhanced,and the negative effect of digital industry scale on the urban degree is also significantly enhanced.When the investment business is used as an intermediary variable,the positive impact of digital infrastructure on industrial development and public resources is significantly weakened.(4)There is a single threshold effect on the urban degree and industrial development,the digital industry scale has a double threshold effect on public resources,the digital infrastructure has a single threshold effect on economic quality,and the digital industry scale has a double threshold effect on economic quality.Through the above conclusions,combined with the actual situation to give some theoretically feasible practical suggestions.
