Due to the defects of vision and their own exercise habits, the balance ability of visually impaired children is relatively poor, which brings a lot of inconvenience to their daily life and learning, and affects the physical and mental health development of visually impaired children. The influencing factors of balance ability include balance triad and muscle strength. This study explores from three aspects : static, dynamic and lower limb strength level.Rope skipping is a sport that requires balance support. It has high requirements for body center of gravity, static, dynamic and lower limb strength. Therefore,we choose rope skipping project as an intervention method, consult relevant experts, design relevant experimental contents and methods on the basis of rope skipping project and physical and mental characteristics of visually impaired children, and conduct experiments.Through the analysis and comparison of the balance ability data before and after the experiment, explore the influence of rope skipping training on the balance ability of visually impaired children, summarize the methods suitable for visually impaired children to improve their balance ability, and enrich the sports activities of visually impaired children in special schools. This paper mainly adopts the research methods of experiment, literature and statistics.Taking the blind students in Chengdu Special Education School as the experimental objects, through screening the age(8-10 years old),gender, disability level(Grade I and II)and health status,44 students in Grade II of primary school who meet the experimental conditions were selected and set as the experimental group and the control group respectively.A 12-week skipping training intervention was conducted. Before and after the intervention, the static and dynamic balance ability and muscle strength of the experimental group and the control group were tested respectively. After the intervention, they were tested again, and the relevant data were synthesized.excel and spss were used to sort out and analyze the data. The changes of static and dynamic balance ability data of visually impaired children before and after the experiment were significantly analyzed. The results show that:1、The intervention of rope skipping can promote the development of balance ability of visually impaired children aged 8-10.After 12 weeks of rope skipping training intervention, the children in the experimental group showed significant differences in dynamic balance, static balance and muscle strength level, indicating that rope skipping can improve the balance ability of visually impaired children.2、The development level of balance ability of visually impaired children in the experimental group is higher than that of visually impaired children in the control group.Although the data of the experimental group and the control group were improved,it can be concluded from the change range of each index data before and after the experiment that rope skipping training is more effective than ordinary physical activity. After three months of physical activity, the three-dimensional test of balance ability of visually impaired children in the control group was slightly improved, but it was not statistically significant.3、Rope skipping exercise intervention can improve the static balance ability of visually impaired children aged 8-10.Through the analysis of the index data after the experiment,it can be seen that after the experiment, the results of the closed-eye single-foot standing test of the visually impaired children in the experimental group have a very significant difference compared with the control group before and after the experiment, which can improve the balance ability of the visually impaired children in the experimental group.4、Rope skipping exercise intervention can improve the dynamic balance ability of visually impaired children aged 8-10.In rope skipping training, the center of gravity is constantly changing in the state of motion, and the body ’s ability to maintain balance in an unbalanced state is improved.Through the analysis of the dynamic balance ability test index of the experimental group after the experiment,it is found that the two data of ’ six steps ’ and ’ Y-word balance ’ have been greatly improved, with very significant differences. This shows that rope skipping training can improve the dynamic balance ability of visually impaired children.5、Rope skipping exercise intervention can improve the muscle strength level of visually impaired children aged 8-10 years.By improving the strength of each muscle group to maintain limb stability. The experimental group after three months of rope skipping training intervention, visually impaired children muscle strength level test indicators ’ sit-ups ’ and ’ standing long jump ’ two data have a certain degree of improvement in which standing jump has a very significant difference. This shows that rope skipping training can improve the lower limbs and core of visually impaired students.
