Maintaining the balance of the body is the basis of human movement, especially the activities of large muscles, which requires a good balance ability to be competent.College students often have sports injuries in the process of sports. The most common parts of sports injuries are knee joint and ankle joint. The decline of balance ability is one of the main causes of knee and ankle joint injuries.Improving balance ability can reduce related sports injuries.Skipping is a simple and exercise-oriented sport that is widely used to train athletes’ cardiopulmonary function, leg strength, and systemic coordination. The pattern of skipping ropes is wide, and it can fully mobilize the coordinated movements of all parts of the body, which greatly meets the fitness needs of learners. This paper explores the influence of pattern skipping on the balance ability of college students by studying the pattern skipping.Using the methods of documentation, logical analysis and experiment,60 students were selected from Qufu Normal University as the research objects. The experimental group consisted of 30 students, the control group consisted of 30 students. The experimental group received 12 weeks of figure rope skipping training, while the control group kept the original learning and living conditions, and the two groups of students no longer had other special sports activities. The balance ability and muscle strength of the experimental subjects were tested before the experiment. After 12 weeks of experiment, the balance ability and muscle strength of the experimental subjects were tested after the experiment. The data obtained before and after the experiment were statistically summarized and processed. The experimental results are as follows:(1)There was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group before the experiment(P > 0.05).After 12 weeks of figure rope skipping, there was a significant difference between the experimental group and the control group(P < 0.01).After the experiment, the results of the closed eye and one foot stand test of the students in the experimental group were significantly improved, and the data before and after the experiment had a significant difference(P < 0.01);the results of the closed eye and one foot stand test of the students in the control group had no significant change, and the data before and after the experiment had no significant difference(P > 0.05).(2)There was no significant difference(P > 0.05)between the experimental group and the control group before the experiment, whether it was the closed eye in situ step or the star shift test;after the experiment, there was significant difference(P < 0.01)between the experimental group and the control group in the closed eye in situ step and the star shift test. After theexperiment, the time of the students in the experimental group to step in place with their eyes closed was significantly improved, and the data before and after the experiment had a significant difference(P < 0.01);after the experiment, the star deviation test score in the experimental group was significantly improved, and the data before and after the experiment had a significant difference(P < 0.01);the results of the students in the control group were not significantly changed compared with those before the experiment,There was no significant difference(P >0.05).(3)Before the experiment, there was no significant difference in grip strength, standing long jump and sit up test between the experimental group and the control group(P > 0.05);after the experiment, there was significant difference in grip strength, standing long jump and sit up test between the experimental group and the control group(P < 0.01).After the experiment, the results of three muscle strength tests in the experimental group were significantly improved compared with those before the experiment, and the data before and after the experiment had a significant difference(P < 0.01);the test results in the control group did not change significantly, and the data before and after the experiment had no significant difference(P > 0.05).Through the analysis of the experimental results, the following conclusions are drawn:(1)After 12 weeks of figure rope skipping, the students’ performance of standing test with closed eyes and one foot improved significantly, and significant differences were observed before and after the experiment(P < 0.01).This shows that figure rope skipping can significantly improve the static balance ability of College students.(2)After 12 weeks of figure rope skipping, the students’ time of closing their eyes and walking in situ increased significantly, and the students’ eight-point star deviation test scores were significantly improved, with a significant difference(P < 0.01)before and after the experiment.Through figure rope skipping, the students’ dynamic balance ability was improved.(3)After 12 weeks of figure rope skipping, the test scores of sit ups, grip strength and standing long jump of the students were improved in varying degrees. The data before and after the experiment had a significant difference(P < 0.01),indicating that synchronized rope skipping improved the core strength, upper limb strength and lower limb strength of the students.(4)Through the analysis of the experimental data,it is proved that figure rope skipping can improve the muscle strength, proprioception and vestibular system function of the human body, and improve the balance ability.
