Research On The Impact Of Changes In Football Competition Rules On The Law Enforcement Concept Of Referees In Recent Years

As the world’s first football sport,it has its unique charm.In football matches,referees play a special role as the third team on the field.The referee must take the rules as the criterion and the facts as the basis for enforcing the law on the court.In recent years,especially since 2016,the rules of football competitions have undergone tremendous changes.This article analyzes and summarizes the principles and spirit followed by rule changes and their impact on referees’ law enforcement concepts by studying the rule change provisions and relevant literature from 2016 to the present,combining with the changes that have occurred in referees’ on-site law enforcement,and bringing help to referees’ on-site law enforcement.This article conducts statistical analysis by consulting relevant literature on football competition rules,ranking the changes in the rules through expert interviews and questionnaires,and identifying classic battle examples through video observation.It compares the impact of changes in the rules on and off the court for referees,and explains the impact of changes in football competition rules on various aspects of referees in recent years.This article conducts a statistical analysis of the relevant data of referees in the Chinese Super League from 2013 to 2022,and the results show that over the past decade,especially since 2016,there has been a significant upward trend in the rate of foul decisions,penalty kicks,red and yellow cards,and decision-making accuracy of referees in the Chinese Super League,while offside decisions have shown a downward trend;The accuracy,personal accomplishment,physical quality,and psychological quality of referees are all related to the changes in rules.By comparing and analyzing the specific details of the terms before and after the change of football competition rules,and combining with the research and analysis of the performance of Chinese referees in professional leagues before and after the change of rules,it can be seen that the impact of the change of football competition rules in recent years on referees’ law enforcement concepts is discussed in the following aspects:1.In recent years,changes in football competition rules have improved the accuracy of referees’ decisions.2.The new law enforcement concept requires referees to be more fair and impartial.3.The new law enforcement concept requires higher personal qualities for referees.4.The new law enforcement concept requires higher physical fitness for referees.5.The new law enforcement concept requires higher psychological quality of referees.6.The new law enforcement concept requires referees to strengthen their understanding of football.7.Technology helps referees enforce the law.
