Kongdong martial arts is an excellent cultural treasure in China,after thousands of years of continuous innovation and transformation of the Chinese people,it has a close relationship with traditional Chinese medicine,religion,etc.,integrating Confucianism,Taoism,soldiership and Buddhist thought in traditional Chinese philosophy,has gradually formed its own unique system,in the development of Kongdong martial arts,Taoist culture has the most serious influence on it.The fact that the martial arts can still stand tall in the traditional martial arts culture after experiencing various setbacks and difficulties shows that it has a strong cultural heritage,which is not only an indispensable part of traditional martial arts projects,but also an important part of enhancing cultural power,and a symbol of the ancient civilization of the Chinese nation.Chinese martial arts were originally differentiated from military martial arts,and the soil for its growth came from folk culture,and the growth soil of Taoist culture also originated from folk culture,so the exchange between Chinese martial arts and Taoist culture was deeper.However,with the integration of Chinese and Western cultures and the rapid advancement of modern social civilization,the martial arts of Kongdong are now suffering from serious problems of inheritance and protection,facing obstacles such as the lack of inheritors,incomplete protection,and insufficient development momentum.Founded in the mountains of Kongdong and an integral part of Taoist culture,it was developed through social turmoil and hardships in the past,and has its own unique mysteries and essence compared to other martial arts schools.The development of the martial arts is inseparable from the guidance of Taoist philosophical theories,and the philosophical theories of Taoism make the martial arts understand their practicality in practice.This paper takes the martial arts of the Kongdong school as the research object,uses the literature method,field investigation method,expert interview method and logical analysis method to rake the origin and development process of the martial arts culture of the Kongdong school,and on the basis of field investigation and interviews,the current status of the inheritance and protection of the martial arts of the Kongdong school is studied and analyzed,and feasible countermeasures are proposed according to the problems existing in the inheritance and protection of the martial arts in the current era,aiming to provide theoretical reference for the inheritance,protection and development of the martial arts.At present,there are four main inheritance subjects of the martial arts: with the management department as the main body,the social sports organization as the main body,the inheritors as the main body and the school as the main body,and a variety of inheritance methods also make the inheritance of the martial arts more sustainable,but due to the imperfection of the inheritance mechanism,it still faces many problems.The study conclusion: The martial arts are an intangible cultural heritage of Gansu Province,a part of the excellent culture of the Jingwei River Basin,and an outstanding representative project of the excellent national sports culture in the Jingwei Basin,and its development and inheritance reflect the current economic development status of Gansu Province.Since its formation,the martial arts have gone through the stages of germination,development,decline,inheritance and protection.(1)The inheritance of Kongtong Martial Arts is primarily carried out through oral transmission and direct transmission of knowledge.The inheritors are key to the preservation and protection of Kongtong Martial Arts.With the development of time and the need for inheritance and protection,the mode of inheritance has gradually transformed from a single form centered around the inheritors to a combination of four entities: administrators,social organizations,schools,and inheritors themselves.(2)As a cultural heritage with a history of over a hundred years,Kongtong Martial Arts is the crystallization of the collective wisdom of the people of Gansu Province.The development of Kongtong Martial Arts has undergone stages of emergence,development,decline,and inheritance and protection,paralleling the course of history.(3)During its development and inheritance,Kongtong Martial Arts not only incorporates the essence of other martial arts cultures but also integrates religious ideologies such as Confucianism,Buddhism,and Taoism.It holds great value in promoting health and well-being.Through practice and training courses,it helps to strengthen the foundation of a healthy China.(4)Due to the relatively late start of research on Kongtong Martial Arts,its theoretical system is not yet mature,and there are no specific and comprehensive policies in place to protect it.However,since its inclusion in the list of intangible cultural heritage in Gansu Province,it has garnered increased attention from scholars and society,which is conducive to its promotion and popularization.This has also provided many conveniences for its development and inheritance.(5)Firstly,there is insufficient administrative support,reflected in the lack of policy planning and financial assistance.Secondly,there are social environmental issues,such as the stigmatization of traditional martial arts and the negative public opinion surrounding the inheritors,leading to reduced participation among the younger generation and a decrease in talent reserves.Lastly,the impact of external competitive sports projects challenges the position of Kongtong Martial Arts within school campuses.The study suggests: In order to promote the inheritance and protection of the martial arts,it should be done:(1)The management department should strengthen the top-level design of the martial arts,plan the implementation strategy for future development,inheritance and protection,create a "trinity" development strategy,pay close attention to scientific research,and strengthen the building of the cultural brand of the martial arts.(2)Solve the problem of scarcity of professional talents,introduce relevant talents through professional development,hire corresponding experts and professors to guide and help,devote themselves to the modern research of martial arts and enrich their theoretical system;Build an interactive platform for association-social enterprises to cooperate with each other,seek the support of social enterprises,so as to ensure the smooth operation of the internal operation of the Wushu,and jointly devote ourselves to the development of the social organization of the Wushu.(3)The social inheritance of the martial arts needs to take the palm school as the starting point,gradually restore the social image of the martial arts among the public through objective solutions and social welfare,properly handle the identity of the inheritor,and avoid the further expansion of online public opinion.In addition,strengthen the supervision and management of the network to avoid the recurrence of incidents that damage the image of traditional martial arts.(4)Carry out creative transformation and innovative development of existing martial arts routines,take students as the main body and teaching content as the general grasp,create routines that students are interested in and suitable for students’ physical and mental development,and promote the implementation of martial arts on campus with the help of national policies.
