Research objective: This paper focuses on the role of aerial yoga in middle-aged women’s health,physical fitness and self-confidence,and comprehensively uses research methods such as field research,data statistics and analysis to collect indicators and physical data after middle-aged women practice aerial yoga,and analyze its influence on physical and mental health.In this way,the theoretical system of yoga can be further improved,while providing reference for women’s choice of exercise patterns.Research methods: This study adopts the literature data method to have an in-depth understanding of the research status and write the literature review part.It adopts the experimental method to carry out the aerial yoga experiment study on 50 middle-aged women aged 45-59 years old in a yoga club of Zigui County,Yichang City.Finally,it adopts the mathematical statistics method to carry out statistical analysis on the obtained data: SPSS statistical software was used for operation,and statistical methods included descriptive statistics,independent sample t test,paired sample t test,etc.Research results: At the 5% significance level,statistical analysis results of each index of the experimental group and the control group showed no significant difference before the experiment(p values > 0.05).After the experiment,the index of the control group did not change significantly,while the experimental group did change significantly.BMI(Δ=3.41,p=0.004),body fat percentage(%)(Δ=-2.76,p=0.019),muscle weight(kg)(Δ=4.85,p=0.007),and standing calf lift(seconds)(Δ=11.2,p=0.000),sitting upright straight leg touch(cm)(Δ=5.05,p=0.004),sitting up in a chair for 30 seconds(times)(Δ=3.86,p=0.000),grip strength(kg)(Δ=3.87,p=0.002),step index(Δ=5.81,p=0.005),Self-confidence(Δ=2.25,p=0.015)had significant changes.And,After the experiment,BMI(p=0.003),body fat percentage(%)(p=0.031),muscle weight(kg)(p=0.014),standing heel lift(second)(p=0.002),sitting and standing straight leg touch(cm)(p=0.000),30 seconds sitting and sitting(times)(p=0.001),grip strength(kg)(p=0.003),step index(p=0.008)and self-confidence(p=0.017)had significant changes.The study concluded that aerial yoga can improve body composition,decrease BMI and body fat percentage,and improve muscle mass in middle-aged women.Air yoga training is more targeted to skeletal muscle strength,enhance muscle vitality,can significantly improve aerobic endurance,flexibility,muscle endurance and muscle strength.It also reduces the risk of diseases caused by muscle imbalance.After three months of aerial yoga teaching,the self-confidence of the experimental group changed significantly.Therefore,aerial yoga practice is beneficial to improve middle-aged women’s health,fitness and self-confidence. |
