| Using the Literature Review Method,questionnaire survey method,experimental method,mathe matical statistics and comparative analysis,this article further study the physical and mental influence of yoga exercise on middle-aged women teachers in colleges or universities.It uses the exercises of yoga which combines selfimprovement and self-cultivation as the practice content of this experiment.The middle-aged female teachers in the experimental colleges or universities take yoga exercise for a period of 16 weeks.It contrasts and analyses the corresponding data about the the four aspects of body shape,body function,physical quality and mental health before and after the exercise.It explore the physical and mental effects of the yoga exercise on middle-aged female teachers in colleges or universities.The purpose is to strengthen the fitness consciousness of middle-aged female teachers,improve their physical and mental health and delay the body’s aging.It provides scientific theoretical basis for the functions of yoga movement---"fitness","nourishing heart",promoting the sustainable development of yoga.The results show:1.After the exercises of yoga,the body shape index of middle-aged female teachers in colleges or universities have improved significantly.Waist circumference,waist-hip ratio and the height and weight index decrease significantly(P < 0.01);weight loses significantly(P < 0.05),the chest increases significantly(P < 0.05).2.After the exercises of yoga,the physical quality of middle-aged female teachers in colleges or universities enhances obviously.The core body strength,balance ability and flexibility improve significantly(P < 0.01).3.After the exercises of yoga,the body function of middle-aged female teachers in colleges or universities improve considerably and quiet heart rate,diastolic and systolic blood pressure index decrease obviously(P < 0.01),the vital capacity increase significantly(P < 0.01),the step index increase(P < 0.05).4.After the exercises of yoga,the mental health condition of the middle-aged female teachers in colleges or universities improve significantly.In the self-evaluation form factors,the factor scores of body feeling,interpersonal relationship and anxiety decrease significantly(P < 0.01).The factor scores of bad mood,hostility also decrease significantly(P < 0.05).Yoga is beneficial to creating the body form of female teachers.It can improve the body function of female teachers and strengthen the female teachers’ physical quality,so it is suitable for fitness and beauty treatment of female teachers.Yoga exercises can improve the mental health of female teachers,relieve female teachers’ depression,anxiety and other bad mood and pressure and improve physical health of female teachers. |
