Study On The Intervention Of Social Work To Help Children In Distress

In 2020,the total number of children in distress still maintained a large stock.Local governments intervened in the rescue of children in distress by purchasing social work services and achieved certain service results,but a complete service model has not yet been formed in our country.Since May 2020,the project of purchasing social work services for children in distress by the Changsha Civil Affairs Bureau has been widely supported by the society.F The social work Service center evaluates the problems faced by the clients and their family members in the early stage,and effectively links resources and optimizes and integrates these problems in the process of project implementation,so as to bring tangible changes to the living conditions of poor children in Changsha City.This paper takes the ecosystem theory and personality development theory as the analytical framework,makes comprehensive use of questionnaire survey and case interview,integrates quantitative and qualitative research methods and combines the practical experience of the project of children in distress in Changsha F social Work Service Center to reflect on the deficiencies of social work intervention in helping children in distress.Suggestions are put forward from the aspects of cultivating children’s individual ability,family security and participation of social forces.Through this study,it is found that the poor physical health of children in distress,poor emotional counseling ability,poor spiritual and cultural life,low family income,lack of after-school education and policy information,and other factors restrict the effective implementation of relief work for children in distress.Therefore,the emphasis of this paper is to promote the renewal of the traditional idea of rescue programs for children in distress with the value of social work,and to promote the diversification of rescue programs for children in distress to better meet the needs of service objects and families.Social workers carry out research in the service process,improve the service quality in the research and exploration,form joint reflection based on feedback from various parties,help the children in difficulties out of difficulties with the joint efforts of themselves,their families and social forces,and integrate the rescue work into the daily life of the service objects.Uphold the idea of helping others and helping themselves,and strive to guide social work practice through this study,respond to the basic principles of national policies,system establishment and security system,and provide suggestions for the introduction of new policies and improvement of the rescue mode.
