In recent years,the state has proposed a series of policies related to education informatization,and information technology has revolutionary impacts on education.As the main practitioner of education,teacher’s professional ability development is the key to building educational informatization.In addition,the level of professional competence of college teachers has an important influence on the improvement of education quality.Based on the characteristics of educational informatization and the new requirements for the professional competence of college teachers,this study explains the connotation and structure of the professional competence of college teachers from the perspective of educational informatization: Under the guidance of the constantly updated educational concept,college teachers use educational rationality and educational experience in educational teaching and educational research activities based on certain professional knowledge and skills,and can flexibly use information technology to complete teaching and educational research tasks.It consists of professionalism and attitude,professional knowledge and professional skills.Using the questionnaire survey method,selecting the full-time teachers of Hunan Agricultural University as the research object,it finds out the main problems of the professional competence of college teachers in the process of education informatization as follows:the weakness of overall professional competence of young teachers,the irregularity of the level of professional competence of teachers,the incomplete structure of professional knowledge,and the low level of technology applied to education.By analyzing the causes of problems from the teacher and the school,the thesis puts forward countermeasures to promote the development of professional competence of college teachers.Teachers can adopt updated concepts,raise their professional awareness and give play to the advantages of the times and provide self-reflective ability;Improve the knowledge structure and learn to turn the theory into practice and other countermeasures.Schools can improve the policy mechanism to encourage university teachers,provide practical opportunities,conduct targeted training,break through traditional models and establish reasonable and realistic evaluation systems.
