Function is one of the most basic concepts in modern mathematics.It is an important model connecting mathematics and real life.It plays a very important role in middle school students’ mathematics learning.Function property is the most critical part of function learning,which is the bridge for middle school students to solve practical problems by using function knowledge.During the educational practice,the author learned that junior high school students think it is difficult to learn functions,especially the function properties.However,mathematical software such as GeoGebra can visualize abstract function properties and promote students’ understanding and construction of function knowledge,so it is proposed to use GeoGebra to assist the teaching of mathematical function properties in junior high school.First of all,this study consulted the relevant literature of GeoGebra and function,and summarized the development process of GeoGebra and function at home and abroad by collating and analyzing the relevant literature,thus accumulating the theoretical foundation for the application of GeoGebra in the research of the properties of mathematical functions in junior middle school.Secondly,learn to use GeoGebra and other mathematical drawing software,summarize the characteristics of GeoGebra,and find out the advantages of GeoGebra over other teaching software.Then questionnaire survey was conducted on junior high school students to understand their current situation of function learning and their views on modern educational technology entering mathematics classroom from the perspective of students.Interviews were conducted with front-line mathematics teachers to understand the existing problems in function teaching and their attitudes and views on the GeoGebra assisted mathematics function property teaching in junior middle school from the perspective of teachers.Through questionnaire survey,mathematics normal university students who are about to enter the education industry are surveyed to understand their views on modern educational technology entering mathematics classroom from the perspective of future teachers.Then,the teaching of the nature of three kinds of functions in junior middle school mathematics is selected as a case,and the teaching process and results of the nature of mathematical functions assisted by GeoGebra are analyzed with the method of observation and interview.Finally,it is concluded that GeoGebra can achieve better teaching effect by assisting the functional property teaching in junior middle school,and the corresponding teaching suggestions and teaching strategies are put forward according to the experiment.
