Research On The Application Of GeoGeBra In Junior High School Mathematics Teaching

With the development of the times,information technology not only influences people'daily life,but also steps into the area of education gradually.In recent years,the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China has declared that information technology and subject teaching should be integrated effectively,which reflects the importance of information technology to the teaching.GeoGeBra,an excellent teaching tool software,can be used by maths teachers in teaching and researching.The essay mainly focuses on how to use GeoGeBra in maths teaching and an experiment will be done to test whether GeoGeBra is effective or not in maths teaching and the improvement of students' academic performances.The research objectives are as follows: first,a questionnaire is used to get well-round information about the usage of information technology in the teaching of junior high schools and to find the problems when using technology;second,after the analysis of the results,a training for junior high school teachers on how to use GeoGeBra will be conducted and later these teachers will receive a test on whether they have already used GeoGeBra effectively.Through the questionnaire,it can be found that junior high school teachers use the information technology in teaching,but they have big problems in making dynamic images.What's more,teachers have the willingness to use information technology to arouse students' interest in maths learning.The GeoGeBra training makes it available that teachers can use GeoGeBra independently and effectively especially in making dynamic images.At the same time,the teachers can realize the advantages of GeoGeBra,which can lay a solid basis in conducting the experiment.The experiment is conducted in a school of x.Through the analysis of the experiment data,it is found that using GeoGeBra in maths teaching can greatly arouse students' interest and effectively improve their ability in solving maths problems,so it is very feasible to use GeoGeBra in maths teaching.
