| At the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee,Deng Xiaoping put forward by Deng Xiaoping that reform and opening up is the most distinctive characteristic of the new era.General Secretary Xi Jinping also highlighted that reform and opening-up was a crucial move in making China what it is today.As time goes by,the impact of reform and opening up on our society strengthens with each passing day.The history of reform and opening-up is in progress,and it is close to real life with rich theoretical value and guiding significance for practice.The high school “Socialism with Chinese Characteristics” textbook has been widely used since 2020.Its curriculum attributes,teaching objectives,and textbook content are closely related to the history of reform and opening up.It is feasible and beneficial to integrate the history of reform and opening up into the teaching application of “Socialism with Chinese Characteristics” and to eliminate the wrong trend of historical nihilism formed since the beginning of reform and opening up,enabling students to form a correct political identity;and improve the teaching quality of the “Socialism with Chinese Characteristics” course.However,in actual teaching,insufficient application of resources for the history of reform and opening-up,monotonous teaching methods,students’ lack of in-depth study of the history of reform and opening up,and schools not paying enough attention to the history of reform and opening up have substantially affected the teaching quality of the curriculum.To improve the teaching quality of “Socialism with Chinese Characteristics” and cultivate talents needed by the society,it is necessary to integrate the history of reform and opening into the teaching application of “Socialism with Chinese Characteristics”.Based on an elaboration of the concepts related to the history of reform and opening up,this paper used the literature research method,questionnaire method,and interview method to investigate the integration of the history of reform and opening up into the teaching practice of “Socialism with Chinese Characteristics”,taking Marxist theory as guiding principle and the textbook “Socialism with Chinese Characteristics” as research material.To ensure the quality of talent cultivation and the completion of the teaching objectives,this paper studies the integration based on three parts.Firstly,it presented a theoretical overview of the integration of the history of reform and opening up into the teaching practice of “Socialism with Chinese Characteristics” and discussed the value and feasibility of the integration;secondly,through an investigation into the status quo,this paper discussed the dilemma of integration and the reasons for its formation;thirdly,through the study of integration paths,this paper solved the difficulty in integration. |
