The cultivation of innovative talents is the talent foundation of the country’s sustained and rapid development,and also the demand of the current social development."Cultivating people by virtue" is the fundamental task of education,which aims to cultivate new people of The Times with ideals,skills and responsibility.In 2022,the Ministry of Education issued the document "Curriculum Standards of Information Technology for Compulsory Education(2022 Edition),which puts forward new requirements for the teaching objectives,teaching content,teaching process and teaching evaluation of information technology courses.STEM education is a multi-disciplinary education form integrating science,technology,engineering and mathematics.It emphasizes problem situational,interdisciplinary and collaborative learning,and aims to cultivate students’ ability to creatively solve real problems comprehensively by using multi-disciplinary knowledge,skills,thinking and methods.School-based STEM education based on regional culture is an important way to locate STEM education,but the relevant research is still weak.School-based STEM education based on regional culture is not only conducive to the cultivation of innovative talents and the implementation of the fundamental task of "cultivating people by virtue" in education,but also appropriate to the content requirements of the new curriculum standard of information technology.Therefore,this research takes the perspective of junior high school information technology curriculum,uses design-based research methods to explore school-based STEM education based on regional culture,and then designs and applies teaching theme cases,aiming to cultivate talents with both scientific spirit and humanistic spirit.Design-based research methods run throughout the research process.first,According to the development of STEM education at home and abroad,the lack of integration of school-based STEM education and regional culture integration is proposed;next,Taking the STEM educational concept and activity theory as the theoretical basis,According to the content analysis and school-based analysis results of the Compulsory Education Information Technology Curriculum Standard(2022 edition),the school-based STEM education design framework based on regional culture is proposed;once more,With regional culture as the teaching theme and the 3D One modeling course,In the three rounds of "Case design-teaching implementation-Teaching Reflection-Teaching improvement in Grade 1(2)",Gradually optimize and perfect the design framework and refine the relevant theoretical principles;last,To evaluate the implementation effect of school-based STEM education based on regional culture,To of the study hypothesis.The research conclusions are as follows:(1)From proposing the design framework of school-based STEM education based on regional culture,and the multiple rounds of improvement and optimization of the design framework,to finally obtaining the perfect design framework and extracting the relevant theoretical principles,the problem of how to carry out school-based STEM education based on regional culture in junior middle school information technology is solved.(2)With the continuous improvement and improvement of the design framework,the theoretical principles of school-based STEM education based on regional culture are generated,with the core literacy and cultivating people with both integrity and ability;implementing the fundamental task of "moral education";setting the interdisciplinary subject content;emphasizing the big concept teaching;the combination of scientific principles and practical application;the consistency and logic of teaching;the seven theoretical principles of diversified teaching evaluation methods.(3)School-based STEM education based on regional culture has a significant effect on students’ interdisciplinary knowledge learning,which can significantly improve students’ innovation ability,problem solving ability,communication and cooperation ability,and has a significant effect on promoting students’ cultural heritage.
