The Great Resource Sharing Initiative has further accelerated the digitization of education, and the demand for digitization in school education has become increasingly clear in the digital education environment. With the iterative evolution of digital technology, various public education resources have been introduced, and in order to make up for the lag in the technical level of schools, the integration of public digital resources in school teaching has become a new path, and the virtual museum,as a credible database of public resources, undoubtedly assumes the heavy responsibility of large resource services. With the emphasis on core literacy, art subjects should break the classroom boundaries and link with quality public digital resources. Thus, this paper aims to integrate the educational resources of virtual museums so that school art courses can enrich their teaching contents and optimize their teaching modes. After an initial sorting and screening of virtual museums and related educational resources, the Palace Museum online platform was selected, and a web-quest model was used for subsequent integration of teaching resources, and a task-driven teaching activity plan was designed and tested in practice at S School in Nanchang. After analyzing the results of the pre and post test questionnaires in practice,it is clear that the web-quest teaching model has been effective in integrating virtual museum resources in art appreciation courses.Students showed significant improvements in contextual experience, cultural understanding, resource integration, and learning styles, while only small improvements were observed in image literacy and creative practice. In this regard, this paper discusses and summarizes the framework of a possible model for integrating virtual museum resources in middle school art appreciation courses for teachers to flexibly select and use in order to fully utilize the virtual museum as a high-quality public digital resource. |
