The fundamental purpose of the compulsory education stage physics curriculum is to cultivate students’ core qualities and lay a foundation for their lifelong development. The "Compulsory Education Physics Curriculum Standards(2022 version)" outlines the objectives of the physics course: to understand nature from a physics perspective, solve practical problems, form a preliminary scientific natural view;guide students through scientific exploration process, learn scientific research methods, develop scientific thinking habits, and learn to study. This also means that teachers need to stimulate and maintain students’ curiosity and exploration enthusiasm for the natural world. How to cultivate students’ inner drive to actively explore nature requires starting from their interests.Research in the international science education field shows that interest is an important scientific literacy.Due to the widespread shortage of experimental equipment in newly built schools, how to use daily materials to carry out compulsory teaching experiments and how to carry out interesting experimental teaching to attract students’ interest have also become a hot topic nowadays.Based on this background, this thesis has conducted theoretical analysis and teaching practice research on how to use daily materials to design teacher demonstration experiments and student experiments to stimulate students’ interest in learning physics as much as possible.Firstly,by consulting literature to understand the research history and current situation of interesting physics experiments at home and abroad, the concept of interesting physics experiments and daily experimental equipment is defined, and the characteristics of interesting physics experiments are analyzed.Secondly, based on the above theoretical basis,we conducted a survey and research on the current situation of students’ and teachers’ interest experiments.Based on the survey,we find that the needs of students and the problems encountered by teachers when conducting interesting experimental teaching, and propose several application strategies for applying interesting physics experiments to classroom teaching in response to this conflict: converting some classroom demonstration experiments into home experiments;using living materials to lower the threshold of experimentation;carrying out student cooperative experiments to achieve collaborative progress;changing concepts and cultivating students’ scientific literacy;emphasizing innovation and migrate applications. Finally, based on the Shanghai Science Edition eighth-grade physics textbook, starting from the knowledge points of mechanics, optics, and acoustics, and taking the "Compulsory Education Physics Curriculum Standards(2022 version)" as the guide,32 teacher demonstration and student independent experiments were designed. The students used the winter vacation time to complete their own experiments, record experimental videos, and send them to the teacher.I carefully browsed them and replied one by one. After summarizing typical problems encountered during students’ experiments,I incorporated these interesting physics experiment videos into my classroom teaching.By guiding students to solve problems through communication and discussion, the critical thinking, innovative thinking, and cooperative spirit of students have been improved.Through the theoretical and practical researches,it is found that fun experiments can indeed improve students’ learning interest, especially for low grade students. The autonomous experiments can cultivate students’ sense of cooperation, help them achieve more successful experiences and a sense of achievement, enhance their self-confidence and enthusiasm, and promote them to better engage in learning. In this way,the students can better internalize their knowledge and truly achieve the "from life to physics, from physics to society" required by the curriculum standards.I hope that the research can provide classroom materials for front-line teachers to promote the better integration of interesting physics experiments into the class.
