Under the background of the global informatization,Maker Education has also developed rapidly.Maker Education is a new educational model that focuses on practical,creative,and learning,and cultivates innovative talents.The core concept of Maker Education is to cultivate students’ innovation,exploration,and creativity through hands-on practice.School education should focus on cultivating students’ innovative abilities and comprehensive qualities,and promote comprehensive human development.Only by improving the level of after-school services in schools can we meet the diverse needs of students.3D Printing technology,as an emerging technology,provides good support for the development of Maker Education and after-school services in primary and secondary schools.Primary and secondary schools in various regions of China are introducing 3D printing into schools and classrooms.The accuracy of course design can improve the effectiveness of classroom teaching and facilitate students’ academic development.However,there are currently few 3D printed textbooks and course resources available for junior secondary school students,and there are differences in school-based textbooks across different regions.Based on this,the author combines the cognitive characteristics of students in our school with the aim of improving their innovative thinking ability according to the comprehensive survey of the school the author once served.After consulting literature,collecting data and questionnaire survey,the author designed and developed a 3D printing course suitable for students in the secondary school.The design of this course is based on the concept of maker education.This thesis mainly studies the teaching objectives,syllabus,specific course content,teaching mode and course evaluation method of 3D printing course.The carrier of curriculum implementation is the community.The author conducted a year of teaching practice in Grade 7,tested the rationality and standardization of curriculum by both process evaluation and outcome evaluation,and compared the changes in students’ innovative thinking ability before and after measurement using the William Creativity Tendency Scale.According to the feedback,the author constantly revised and improved the curriculum design,conducted in-depth research,and formed a 3D printing curriculum resource library suitable for students in our school.The main research contents of this thesis include the following three aspects:The first aspect is about theory level.Through literature checking,data collection and related methods,the author studied and analyzed the teaching practice of 3D printing courses,summarized out the main problems existing in 3D printing courses at home and abroad.After that,to provide reference for the design and development of this course,the author systematically sorted out the educational theories and related concepts within the range of course designing on 3D printing,providing reference for the design and development of this course.The second aspect is about the curriculum design and development.At beginning,the author analyzed the teaching environment and learning situation.According to the learning progress,the author formulated the three-dimensional teaching objectives of this course.According to the course objectives,the author designed the course contents.The sequence of course contents is from easy to difficult,following as learning section,creative section,and practical section in sequence,completing the overall framework of 3D printing school-based curriculum.This course adopts a project-based exploratory teaching model.There are two evaluation methods for courses,namely process evaluation and outcome evaluation.The third aspect is about the implementation of this course.According to the instructional design,the author carried out community classes for practice in Grade 7,select the typical case of "mortise and tenon structure mobile phone bracket" in the course to elaborate on the specific implementation process of 3D printing course,and give a systematic analysis to 3D printing Maker course from small details through the three aspects: teaching design,implementation process,and teaching evaluation.By combining process evaluation and summative evaluation,the rationality and applicability of course design have been verified.Students have mastered 3D printing knowledge and skills,and their innovative thinking ability has been improved.The teaching results showed that this course is helpful for cultivating students’ practical ability.In the process of finding,exploring and solving problems,they can turn their ideas into real objects for verification.At the same time,the innovative thinking and problem-solving ability are improved,so the practical effect is good.The3 D printing curriculum resources formed in this thesis also provide some references for other researchers.
